Terrible job on my screens I paid $190 for 8 screens to be fixed that’s $24 a screen! For them to be loose and falling out of the molding a day after we put them back in the window. They weren’t fixed properly. Sad.

Called looking to have someone come look at a commercial job that's over 10 grand worth of work. I was told take pictures get the measures, then they will send door styles for me to choose then they'll give me a price and If I like it then they will come out and measure it and give a final price. Sorry not going to do a sales reps job so you can save money not having 1. If I had time to do all that I would just do it myself.

My son is a carpentry student at GNBVT and he made an oversized frame that required a very large piece of glass. The folks at Bay State were extremely pleasant and the glass fit perfectly in the frame. When my son went to pick it up, the staff gave my son much praise on his craftsmanship which in turn gave him a confidence boost. The price couldn't be beat either! Will definitely be going back for future window and glass needs ?

They honor their warranty! We bought 28 windows for our Mattapoisett beach home 20 years ago from Bay State Window. They are speciality replacement windows, with unique sizing for each, replacing picture windows with casement style windows. Over time, the manufacturing of the windows themselves (the factory installed the reflective surface backwards!) has caused some failures, yet Bay State Windows has stood behind each and every one of the failures. We still own the house, we still love our windows with views of Buzzards Bay, and we still cannot say enough wonderful things about Bay State Windows! Oh, and they took quick and superior care of our screens that needed repair.

I always get my windows fixed here. They have the best service in town, in and out usually in a day and the price can not be beat. 5 stars thank you for your outstanding service.

They supposedly have a policy that they can return a job within a day. However, when I called ahead to say I was running a bit behind and If they could do the repair same day, they said yes, so I rushed to remove the window in the middle of winter, rushed down and was told with indifference that they wouldn't be able to guarantee repair same day. I then went to local competitor that had much better customer service.

We had Baystate come by this past Thursday and Friday to install 9 new windows. Friendly employees, excellent windows, great quality, fair pricing. We got 8 quotes, Baystate was well within acceptable limits on cost. We are very happy with the whole experience. My only critique was the very end. Windows should have been cleaned after the install to put this over the top. Lots of greasy fingerprints to clean up. Other that that, which was minor, it all went very well. I would use them again.

We first used Bay State Window and Door in 2009. We bought an old house and needed all 27 windows replaced! I put out a query on Facebook and was told over and over to contact Bay State. Bay State was not only the most affordable we had considered, but they stand behind their work. None of the window frames on our custom cape were standard or square and as a result one of the windows cracked in the converted Porch Sun room, we notified Bay State and before we realized it the cracked window was replaced at no cost to us. Our experience with them was great. They work with you as the home owner and do beautiful work. We liked them so much we went on to replace all the exterior doors too. We have a new house now and I am reaching out to them again to replace the front door and I am confident that the service and quality will be top notch. We love working with and supporting family owned businesses in the area. And we are grateful for the kind, dependable and quality service we have received from Bay State Window and Door. Thank you, Sarah and Shawn

Had vinyl window replaced about three years ago. Came with a 5 year guarantee. Brought back with the receipt and was told there was no warranty, then told only a one year warranty. Many reasons to not fix the window made by owner including, they dont know if it is the same window i had fixed, I could have "put a screw through it"??, she doesnt know the condition of my house. All this without even looking at the window. She lied about what other are charging in the area for the same service. I called several local places and they all charged the same and had a five year warranty. This owner is very shady. She was willing for me to pay her to fix it again though. Check around, you may find better prices by people who stand behind their work.
