Germano and his team were on time and communicated well throughout the project. The pricing was reasonable, and when a change request I approved and paid for wasn’t necessary, they refunded that portion. I would hire them again.

We were in the midst of a siding project when we learned that we needed to replace one gutter and modify two others. Our regular gutter company was unavailable to help on such short notice (summer is peak gutter installation season), so we tried Golden Gutter & Construction on the recommendation of our siding project manager. From the start, it was not a good experience. Rovin came to assess the house for needed work (measuring, etc.) and was supposed to have given my husband an estimate. He did not leave an estimate, so we had no idea what the service would cost. They were able to schedule our project in for the next day (which was great), but their arrival time kept slipping into the evening, so we decided to push off the appointment to the end of that week. The new appointment was scheduled with Rovin. They gave us a 2-hour window of arrival time, and after the end of that 2-hour window, we received an update that a team would be there in a different 2-hour window and that the installer would be some other person (not Rovin). Finally, the team showed up. Neither of the young men could speak English, so it was very difficult to communicate with them the work that needed to be done. (Rovin had communicated clearly in English with my husband, and we were looking forward to him being on site for the work.) Neither of the young men knew which gutters needed which services or the unusual requirements around our project (modifications for steel siding, use of magnets rather than screws through the new siding). The siding project manager was able to communicate with them a little, but not effectively enough to get the outcomes that we really wanted (avoiding more holes in the fascia and avoiding scratching the new siding, for example). The gutter installers had to remove a gutter guard from one of the gutters, but they did not leave the screws that they had removed. As a result, we now have to source replacements for these specialized parts. We finally learned the price of the project when we got a bill for the work. The price was not unreasonable for the amount of work (parts and labor), but it was unreasonable for the lack of caring about the homeowners' requests and for misplacing/taking parts away from the project site. The biggest plus is that they were able to do the work quickly. But that's also the biggest minus because they didn't take time to understand what we were asking them to do. Edit: The day after we posted the review above, we got a call from Rovin asking us to improve our rating in exchange for a discount. We refused his offer, as it is deeply dishonest to change a review for a kickback. And, in fact, we were to discover that Golden Gutters' performance was even worse than what we said in our initial review. When we finally had time to reinstall the gutter guards, we found that the quality of the gutter hanging was substandard. Inexplicably, the hangers that we had on the gutters went missing (the company that originally installed these gutters uses only a particular type of hanger) and were replaced with a mishmash of different hangers. Many of the hangers were screwed into the back of the gutter, not hooked into the lip of the gutter. Additionally, they screwed at least 20 zip screws into the back of each gutter. There was a clear caulk line from the old gutters to which they should have aligned the gutters for reinstallation. With the metal roof, it's important to have the gutters hung higher so that sliding snow won't catch the edge and rip them off the house. Instead of using the old caulk line as a guide, Golden Gutters staff decided to hang the gutters a half inch lower. If I could amend the review to give zero stars, I would. Now, we are stuck with the added expense of new gutters (from the company that originally installed the gutters) because the existing ones have too many holes to be able to reuse them, even after adjusting the height and pitch. Rovin did bring by a packet of screws for the gutter guards, but the screws he left were the wrong size.

I had 6 inch gutters and leaf guards installed on a section of my home and it was a great experience. The whole project took about a week and a half from quote to completion. The workers showed up on time, got the job done quickly, and cleaned up the area when they were done. After the first rainstorm I noticed an area that was leaking. I called the company back, let them know what I was dealing with and they had someone come back and fix the issue the next day. Very satisfied with the experience and I will be using them again in the future.

The team over there at Golden Gutters really knows how to get the job done. We had a downspout fixed and two rain barrels installed. Everyone I spoke to and met were pleasant, communicative, and timely. I would absolutely recommend and hire again.

10/10 recommend Golden Gutters. They were incredibly responsive, Eduarda got us scheduled quickly, Germano answered all of our questions. We were very happy with the quality of gutters, the labor, and the great price. They were always on-time and came when they said they were going to come for both the estimate and the job day. I wish all companies were this wonderful! Thanks, Golden Gutters.
