As a first time customer of J & A Overhead Door, they were an amazing company to work with last week! I appreciated their prompt time response to my call (Heather called me the day after I left a vm message regarding my mother's garage issue). Brian and Jeremiah did great quality work fixing her garage and charged a reasonable amount for the work involved. We plan to work with this company going forward and refer them to others!

Not good, they do a rush job, door not sitting level to floor. Did not pre-drill any of the wood they mounted the vertical rails to and split the wood at every lag screw, and if they split it bad enough they just left the screw out. They left the position sensor wire a cobweb of a mess after adjusting that (fixed that myself). Angle on the pull arm was adjusted too steep so when motor is disengaged you can't manually lift the door. Stripped out the sensor bracket screw hole so they just fired a self tapping screw in instead of a proper set screw. So much for the nice prep work we did in advance to the installation in hopes everything would be beautiful afterwards. I did present the issue(s) to them afterwards and they seemed fathomed that anyone would ever complain about their work, honestly for a proper fix everything has to come back apart, the wood that they split all changed, and the door leveled properly afterward. But when they say their usual fix to a door not sitting level to a level floor is to "double gasket it, you know their mentality already and that is enough for me not to welcome these people back on the property. Not to mention no interior handle on the new door at a $2800 price point!! Lastly when I got home on the day of installation the old rails were in a twisted mess on the ground in the driveway which tells me how they took everything apart as well. Anyways, to repair it they want me present so everything is overseen, my theory is why should I have to take time off from work to oversee a job they should be just fine at doing with nobody having to be present.

JA is incredible. My garage door spring snapped and they were there the following day and replaced within 25 minutes. Kind and friendly business. Not that I want my garage door to ever break again but I know who I would call immediately if it did. I recommend putting them as the only option for garage door installs and replacements.

Excellent Response - even greater service and completed the job quickly, professionally and reasonably! Came out on a Sunday and had the job completed in a couple of hours and did not charge extra from coming out on the weekend. Will definitely use them again and refer them to others!!!

J & A were simply amazing to work with. Our door spring broke and the other one was also on the way out. We called and and talked to Heather she is very pleasant and helpful over the phone. They were able to come out in a couple days and fix our problem very quickly. Brian and Jeremiah are very hard working and very helpful. They were able to upgrade our door system as well. Thank you J&A !

J&A installed 2 new garage doors and garage door openers. I asked so much cuz I asked them to change a regular garage door to a wall mounted one and to take my existing garage door set up and have it open higher in the garage to allow for more head room. Heather did all the coordination with me over the phone and was present at the job to help out. Brian is the master at installing garage doors and they were training Jere. Everyone was so nice and professional. A true family business. They also explained everything to me at the end. Really wonderful people. Can't speak highly enough of them.
