Overall

My Move was great. The 2 hunks were friendly, courteous and worked hard. I had a 2 bedroom apartment worth of furniture and they really got it done quickly. The process was seamless from start to finish. Also, great communication from the customer service, lo al manager, and of course the two hunks!!! At no time did I have to guess ir feel uninformed. Very good service model

Just had the most excellent experience with this outfit. Laney, Damian and Harrison were all extremely polite, professional and hard working. They treated everything of ours with extreme care and were able to complete the job an hour quicker than expected. Couldn’t recommend more. We plan to use them again within the next few weeks

09/09 Just used them again for Junk removal. Hunter and Taron were extremely polite, helpful and considerate of our space. They were quick and clean and i couldn’t recommend this company enough

DONT EVER USE!!!
We used college hunks almost two months ago for our move. They brought a truck that was too small and couldn’t fit all of our belongings which made the hourly price more because the spent so much time trying to fit things in the truck. Then out brand new mattress got completely ruined the mattress bag was off of my bed when it arrived to the new house and was literally black from dirt that had got on it. Lastly myself and my partner had to move the couch into the new house because the workers couldn’t figure out how to get it through the door.

I have called customer service I can’t tell you how many times and all they say is “I’ll reach out to the local store” and I have heard nothing back

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This company is not a professional company. After a very professional pre-move walkthrough by Zachary Woehlke where we were told we would be taken care of by 3 professional movers, a 26 foot truck, moving supplies including move pads, blankets, shrink wrap, bubble wrap, dollies, and hand trucks, and ability to assemble and disassemble furniture - all for a reasonable cost with a time estimate of 4-6 hours. Sounds perfect, right?
3 uninspired men showed up, 1 wearing Croc sandals. They arrived in a tiny 20' truck. No move pads, blankets, bubble wrap, dollies, nor hand trucks were in sight. They forgot a tool bag and had to borrow my manual screwdriver to take apart all my furniture. They proceed to leisurely move 1 item at a time to haphazardly make 1 layer of furniture in their truck - only some of my furniture was shrink wrapped (no pads, no blankets, no bubble wrap). I called management to talk about their lack of productivity, lack of tools, lack of furniture protection, and wrong size truck. At that point I should have sent them home. Huge mistake. After 3 trips and 6 hours later, it was clear the job would take at least 12 hours due to their lack of productivity and slow pace. We told them to stop, as my 120 pound wife was moving furniture quicker than them, as we were being charged by the 15 minute increment. I complained to Zachary about the whole experience. Of course he said he would "take care of me", as the lack of productivity, lack of furniture protection, lack of tools, and lack of professionalism were not acceptable. They leave. I inspect the furniture. 29 pieces of furniture with scratches and gouges. I'm assuming furniture pads and bubble wrap would have prevented the damage. I attempt to call Zachary to be "taken care of". All I get is a message saying claims department is handling this now, I would receive $0.60 per pound of damaged furniture. He refused to talk to me. Wow. Because I filed a claim with Chase in an attempt to get Zachary to call me back, this "reputable" company with high google reviews is not allowing me to even get reimbursement for damaged furniture. Chase denied my claim due to "job was complete". So now I'm left paying the full bill for 3 men to come into my house, go through my donation pile for freebees, use my own screwdriver to inefficiently take apart furniture, be on their phone or waiting in the cab while on the clock, waste time with my frustrated wife by giving her decorating tips for my new home (they weren't getting the message my wife did NOT want to chit chat), damage or break almost every piece of furniture, and refuse to move my couch into my basement because it wouldn't fit (my wife and I did this ourselves earlier this week by removing the feet). Take a look at the pictures. 29 pieces of unprotected furniture damaged. What a disaster. The only thing I can do now is to take future business away from them with this review. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL MOVERS. THEY WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF YOU AND WILL BREACH THEIR OWN CONTRACT. You will feel comfortable after the pre-walkthrough. You will experience a NIGHTMARE. The lead mover will be very apologetic and gain your sympathy. He will apologize for the slow pace, apologize for missing tools, apologize for damaging furniture, apologize for damaging walls, tell you that tools are on the way when tools never arrive. Be warned. And of course, to top it off, they respond to this google review with an apology and a phone number. I have used the provided number and left multiple messages to talk to management and have received zero callback. College Hunks, nice try making people think you actually provide customer service and want to rectify the situation. Another empty apology - this is what College Hunks does best. I hope you can sense my sincere honesty reading this review. The pictures speak a thousand words.

I am extremely upset about the packing services I received and the lack of a direct number for outreach as everything is routed through a center. I missed a call same day of service and there was no message left and so they arrived late due to complications at a previous job. This would normally be no problem, but we only could reserve the elevator for a specific amount of time in our building. Secondly, when I was quoted I asked specifically about wrapping some pieces that were brand new and white fabric and was told it was no problem. When my Dad unpacked the truck at my home, my brand new couches were extremely damaged due to being stood on their ends with no padding or plastic wrap. I am so upset and heartbroken!
