If I could give zero I would. I have had to endure Schindler customer service at multiple property sites over the years and each time I have had to go with another company due to poor communication and service each time. This last property's experience has been so bad. Hogan is the worst account manager ever and he has never stopped by the property or reached out to check on services. This last experience though has topped it all. The technician stated he fixed something and it was not done, right before the contract ended.

Schindler used to be the best back in 2002, but now they keep changing managers and staff, THEY SUCK. just after building a relationship with someone, they are no longer working for Schindler.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with — of any kind, ever. They installed two elevators in our building and the annunciator never worked in one of the elevators, even after dozens of pleas. Now, less than a month after signing a brand new 24-hour maintenance contract at a very high cost, we’ve been over 24 hours without either of our two elevators. You would never engage this company if you knew how bad they are.

Feb 27, 2023 We live at 4202 13 st NW Washington DC. This is a Senior Handicapped property with people stuck on 2nd & 3rd floors Who can't come down because the elevator is broken WE have been waiting for your company since 8am this morning it is now 2:30pm still NO ONE is here. What type of company are you? Do u even care that we have disabled people here?

Update: The issue appears to mostly be on the utter lack of communication by our property manager and the 30 year-old elevator. Tentatively changing the rating based on promises about when the one technician able to deal with the super old elevator will come. The elevator in my building has been out for over 2 weeks. New parts were needed and the supply chain is backed-up, so I don't fault them for that. But on Friday, they sent the "wrong" crew and refused to send the correct one and told my building manager they'd be back on Monday. It is now Monday past noon and they have not shown up. This is after having a similar issue 3 months ago where again the inability to even show up for the job meant we spent extra time without an elevator

The elevator in my apartment has been out for approximately 2 weeks now. Walking up 8 flights of stairs every day is a nightmare. After having to order new parts, Schindler apparently sent the wrong crew to install the parts last Friday, and there has been no update as of 1PM today. Starting to think this will never get fixed.

Schindler has failed to fix my apartment elevator for over a week now, claiming the part they require is not available, then the part they ordered is faulty, and after magically finding the necessary part in the area, they still fail to fix the elevator. Schindler simply cannot handle complex elevator issues and I would not suggest any company use them, unless they want to risk having their elevator out for an extended period of time. Update: elevator has been broken for another two weeks (beginning May 31st). Schindler ordered the necessary parts and sent out the wrong crew to install them Friday, June 10th. They refused to send another crew until Monday the 13th. It would be faster and more effective to be certified in elevator repair than to use this company.

Schindler Elevator a is a horrible company. I would never recommend them. Their employees are disrespectful and rude. I was blocked in today and called the company. They were rude and told me they were aware and would move it, but I have been waiting for over an hour for someone to move it. This made me and my co worker over an hour late to our next job and their was no apology.

There a great option and professional service. I would highly recommend them if searching to change your current elevator provider. I have been involved with using Schindler elevator in my 3 major facilities for over a year and I'm completely impressed with the level of service they provide. I love used a handful of different elevator services over the past couple years and none of them come close to schindler. They are very fast at getting needed parts ordered and installed. There monthly agreements are fairly priced. There staff is always professional and are on time. They break certain things down to simpler terms to understand what certain issues are. I plan to keep schindler on board for many more years to come. They really do everything they can to be the best elevator provider around and I am beyond impressed.
