We had a huge job - 25 windows and 3 doors to replace the original 1960 windows and doors in our home. From start to finish, American Home Center has been easy and pleasant to work with. No sales person came to my house to try to upsell me on stuff we didn’t need, or offer me huge discounts if I paid in full RIGHT NOW. I measured my windows, submitted an online estimate request and within 8 hours I had a very reasonable estimate for excellent windows. When I accepted the estimate, they came to the house for exact measurements and we sorted the details. Their final price came in a full $25,000 less than the next-lowest estimate I received (I met with 7 different companies, and 2 used the exact same window specs as AHC for a real apples-to-apples comparison). The said 6-8 weeks for ordering and 3 days to install. It is now just 5 weeks after we placed the order, and all 25 windows and 3 doors have been installed beautifully in just 2 days. They came to do the doors last week because they came in earlier, and also installed a full floor of our windows the same day. They finished up yesterday with the rest of the windows and we couldn’t be happier. The windows are beautiful, the house is quieter and more comfortable already! I truly cannot recommend America Home Center highly enough!

The AHC install team did a FANTASTIC job with our install. They arrived on time, were courtesous and professional, and cleaned up afterwards so well you'd never know they were there :-) The 11 new windows look great and they are a big visual improvement over the old ones. Window operation is simpler than the old windows we replaced — we haven't really opened/closed those windows historically - but maybe now we will! We didn't have to wait as long - the whole process took just about a month from ordering to installation. AHC’s prices are extremely competitive, as well. Finally, their estimator pointed out a non-window related issue that we were unaware of and we were able to rectify before it became a serious problem.

This company requires a little more research on your end, but they were very prompt with replies and quotes and had the lowest price. Based on other reviews we decided to go with them. In addition to regular windows, I had a very large 1950’s floor to ceiling picture window that needed to be replaced. Due to its size it would not be able to replaced as one window (this was told to me by 3 different window companies). I was happy with the solution they offered to recreate the original look I wanted using three side by side picture windows. I was very pleased with work crew and final product of all the windows. Would recommend.

The street-facing windows were intended to be similar to the tall existing ones, but the replacements were actually several inches shorter with a huge trim around them to compensate. Size noted on estimate was about 2 inches taller than size noted on manufacturer's label on window that was installed. This looks cheap and changed the symmetry of the house as well as really diminishing the curb appeal. The really offensive part was that the office person and the owner were both immediately defensive and condescending on the phone, actually tried to lecture me on the meaning of language instead of trying to understand the problem and discuss a solution. The installers did a great job and the rest of the windows fit the openings as expected, matched the sizes noted on the estimate, and looked great. I'll need to spend more money to have the new windows professionally removed and replaced by a different company.

I will rave about AHC 'til the cows come home - it was such a pleasant experience. I was recommended to AHC by a friend who'd had her home's windows replaced so I decided to give them a try. The estimate process was super simple and I believe I received a detailed quote (we were replacing all 8 windows in our home) the same day or next day via email from Joy. I was able to schedule an appointment to confirm the measurements the following week for 9/19 and Robert (the tech that came out) was very thorough and professional (gave me so many extra tips for energy efficiency as he was walking through the home). I was told that we'd probably be looking at December for an install and I was able to pay the deposit the same day as the appointment. To our very pleasant surprise, I got a call 10/28 asking when we'd like for them to come out and start the job! We got an appointment for 11/2 - Jimmy and his helper arrived on time, thoroughly explained what the process was going to be like and started right away. They laid tarps down all over, cleaned up after they were done, removed their shoes when needed and finished the whole project in about 6ish hours. Jimmy then showed me how the windows opened and their features and provided me with the warranty paperwork before heading out. I was then able to call over the phone to pay the remaining balance and it was all super easy. Thank you AHC, we absolutely love our windows!
