We had two vintage stools reupholstered. The workmanship and attention to detail were top notch! If you're looking for a specific kind of fabric design and content, I recommend looking for it online first at I did have trouble finding just the right one in the shop. Still, everything turned out great!
I called this business and had a conversation with someone about getting a quote on pickup, reupholster, and delivery. She asked for photos, which I emailed right away and even sent a quote from another company on a material cost. I was told I would receive a quote within 48 hours. After receiving nothing after a week or so I followed up via e-mail.. still nothing. So then some days later I called again. The woman said ‘oh yeah, Keiana, I’ll send you quote by close of business today.’ That was well over a week ago. Overall this was a disappointing experience as I had hoped to have the service done before hosting family in town this past weekend. Based on the run around I was given, sadly I wouldn’t be able to recommend this business.

Madame @ The Designer Workroom did an exquisite job recovering a vintage chair from parent's home first. It turned out beautifully.
The second piece was beloved love-seat that needed new cushions (inserts & covers) as well as a slipcover. Incredible attention to detail and craftsmanship. Priced very fairly. Will always use the Deigner Workroom.

I gave Designer Workroom a relitively difficult task of upholstering 2 antique chairs with my husband’s Grandmothers needlepoint which was smaller than the seats. They inset the needle point in blue linen velvet to make it fit and did a beautiful job.

We are exceptionally pleased with the work done at Designer Workroom. Our chair cushions were produced exactly as planned and ordered, and the professional attitude of the mother and daughter team who served our needs was most appreciated.
