We are very pleased with our bathroom remodels. We had 2 bathrooms remodeled at the same time.
Calvin, the designer, met with us in our home and truly listened to what we wanted/needed. He offered the suggestion of having one door and two drawers on each side of our double vanity. We weren’t sure about this but we took his suggestion and are glad we did. Having the drawers has eliminated the stuff we used to keep out on the sink. He also suggested an exhaust fan with a uv light and we are happy with this decision as well. Suggesting shower doors that open from either end truly met our needs.
Marvin and his team were amazing. Very professional and polite. They were very detailed oriented and offered suggestions based upon their experiences. We wanted a niche in one of the showers and the crew realized it couldn’t be done and they took the time to explain why it shouldn’t be done and offered alternative solutions. They arrived when they said they would and worked long hard hours and got the job finished ahead of schedule; and, for that we were thankful. The crew did a great job.
Will the project manager checked in, in person or via text frequently. He was available to answer questions or drop in whenever we or the crew needed him.
In our opinion, one area that could use some help was trash pickup, more often would have been nice.
Overall we had an excellent experience and wouldn’t hesitate to use VBK Kitchen & Bath again. In fact, we have recommended them to friends and family.
We hired VKB to remodel my townhouse's primary bathroom as well as the full bathroom in the hallway. Our designer, Nadia, was willing to work with us as a sounding board to our own ideas of how the bathrooms should look and took our preferences into account. While I had a sense of what I liked in a bathroom, it was good to have someone who could validate our choices. Additionally, the prices were in-line with the other companies we checked with.
VKB was able to start work on the bathrooms sooner than we expected, only a couple of weeks after the contract was signed. Our project manager, Will, came by almost every day to check on the progress of the work. There were some minor changes to the materials chosen due to supply issues, but Will was able to show us alternatives quickly causing no delay to the completion of the project.
The craftsmanship shown by the workers (led by Wilson) was nearly perfect. There were no issues with the layout of tile, the grouting, the caulking. Everything was perfectly aligned. They were very efficient throughout the project and exceedingly polite. Considering the extensive tile work dust was kept to a minimum...I was able to sleep in my bedroom despite it being adjacent to the bathroom they were working in.
In the end, VKB was a comfortable choice for this project. If you want to do a renovation and don't want to sweat too many details, VKB is an excellent choice. I have a few other renovation ideas for next year, and VKB will most likely be my go-to for those projects.

VKB remodeled my kitchen and installed new LVP flooring throughout the main level of my home. And it is stunning!
They knocked out the diningroom wall and doubled the size of the kitchen. They converted from electric to gas oven range and we love it!
They also got rid of the soffit and moved the pipes to to make room for the cabinets. They were very accommodating and did high quality work.
Calvin did a fantastic job on the design. When he came to our home to measure he asked us about what appliances I use and what kind of cooking I do the most often. Then he designed a beautiful kitchen that accommodated our needs. It has brightened up the heart of our home!
Jason, the project manager, did a great job of communicating and updating us each day.
David was a great foreman and did high quality work on the many tasks involved in this project.
