Extremely thorough, pleasant, and most importantly knowledgeable. They are well credentialed and our inspector Kate was amazing. She went the extra mile, was patient with us, and made sure all of our questions were answered and that we understood them. I would highly recommend LodeStar to anyone who asks.

John was incredible! Extremely personable, knowledgeable and a great teacher. He was able to not only point out issues in our new home but give solutions how we could go about fixing them ourselves, or with the help of a professional. He made us feel more at ease with the purchase of our new home. This is really a fantastic company who spends the time to take care of its customers. Again, John was incredible and tool the time to explain every inch of the house to us. The report was top notch, it was great to see that it was easy to read with photos at every occurrence. Overall the best inspection experience I've ever had. Both my husband and I walked away feeling like we knew exactly what to fix with the home with our new knowledge. Also the fact that John is a firefighter reassured us that he was really looking out for our safety and well being. Thank you soo much for your incredible service and coaching!!

My husband and I are purchasing our first home. Our Agent provided us with a list of Inspection companies they use and we chose LodeStar, which was the BEST decision we have made so far in this process. Derick Wolf, our inspector was extremely thorough with the inspection and spent a considerable amount of time explaining his findings, which unfortunately led us to pull our offer. While the results of the inspection were not what we envisioned, they helped us make the best decision for us! I could not be more pleased with LodeStar and Derick Wolf. We are continuing our search and when we find a new home, we will be contacting LodeStar and requesting Derick again.

The Lodestar Inspection staff were fantastic to work with during our new home inspection. We were on a tight deadline, and the staff worked diligently to get us scheduled a date that was convenient for us and supportive of busy work schedules. We had Dave Basham as an our inspector. He simply fantastic to work with during the visit. Extremely thorough, knowledgeable and patient. He is truly an asset because of his vast background in the inspection and construction fields. We worked closely with Dave during the exam, and each of our questions were answered in straightforward, easy to understand terms. He also provided professional insights that were well supportive. Lodestar has made what can be a very difficult process not only manageable but enjoyable.

I attended an inspection yesterday that was done by Kate from LodeStar. She was extremely professional, Knowledgeable and detail oriented about explaining the things that were an issue and could potentially be an issue in the future. This gave me a clear picture of the status of the current property and what kind of things to be prepared for if I continue to purchase the property. I was extremely happy with her service. The main point of having an inspection is to have a clear picture of what kind of home you will be getting into and it is always great to know the reality upfront before having any surprises and shocks. I would recommend LodeStar to other clients and ask for Kate :) She was awesome!
