Frederick Glass Shop is a great, local, stand-by-their-work business. We've purchased several things from them - a glass shower wall and door about 7 years ago and, more recently, a very large mirror. Within a month of the mirror being installed, the silver started coming off along the edges. Wayne personally came to look at it and said he would turn in a report to the company who provides their mirrors, but assured me no matter what he would take care of me - and he did. The crew came back out, removed the mirror with the issue and installed a new one at no cost. They could have tried to blame the problem on someone else or make a big deal out of the hassle of swapping out the mirror, but they didn't. I never had any worry that all would be OK. That's the mark of a great company.

This shop is a real treasure. In addition to providing numerous pieces of custom glass for my home over the course of many years (and installing the same directly into the sashes in some cases), they also recently refurbished about half of my window screens, and they look twice as good as they did when they were NEW. These folks obviously care about their work, and they’re truly a pleasure to work with.

While mowing grass I put a rock through a French door. I considered fixing it myself, but decided I did not have the time to mess with it. I called and talked to Wayne. I told him what I had and he gave me a guesstimate of what it would cost to replace the glass. He scheduled the service. I met the glass tech Shaun at the house at the agreed upon time and within a half hour, he had the door back together at the price Wayne had estimated. The job was done quickly and cleanly. Not a shard of glass was left behind. While I was lucky that they had all of the necessary parts in stock, the job was completed in a very reasonable amount of time. I will call them for glass work inthe future!
