I've consulted Mr. John Premkumar on 2 different occasions. Each time he proved trustworthy; efficient, kind, and unlike some other repair folk, did not oversell. Goes the extra mile to be helpful and knows his stuff.

I scheduled an appointment on 10/14 to have my dryer serviced on 10/16 the time given was 10-12. I took off today to get things done around the house. At 12:05 I contacted Star Appliance Repair because no one showed up. They had an emergency and wanted to reschedule. My issue is I had to reach out to the company to verify if they were running late. That’s not good customer service and I’ve missed a day of work and have to find someone else who can come out today.

Not an emergency but wanted to get ahead of a dryer breakdown. Called in the AM and a technician arrived within an hour (happened to be in the area). He diagnosed, presented and explained the issue. Found the required parts locally and came back a couple of hours later to complete the repair. Also cleaned up the mechanical area of the dryer that was covered in belt rubber as part of the repair. Showed me the finished product and put it all back together. Terrific experience… and Highly Recommended!
