About a year ago Mid-Atlantic Deck and Fence replaced our old and rotting deck in Calvert County. We worked with Dave Yost to get started. He was friendly and professional. He even helped with a decision on where to put the new smaller walkway since it was a slightly different from the original. Our old deck was a 2-level about 15 x 16 and 15x15 with beveled corners but we decided to go with a classic rectangle shape with 15x14 and 15x14 with an additional back stairs with a landing. They were able to use the same holes for the support beams since the layout was similar. They were flexible when we wanted to add a pergola. They were very quick to get things done (even though our county permits took months). As soon as the permits were in, it did not take long. Our project was completed in 4 working days, and which included removing the old deck and adding the pergola. We were very impressed with how fast the project was completed and how beautiful it turned out! I recommend MAD fence for any deck project. And if you’re ever on the fence (pun intended) about whether to add a pergola or not, go ahead, you will NOT be disappointed. This pergola really classed up the joint! The old rotting and unsafe deck was turned into an inviting backyard retreat that we will enjoy for years to come. Now a year later, we are about to get a fence through David Yost and Mid-Atlantic Deck and Fence. __________________ APRIL 2024 UPDATE We got about 400’ of fencing around the side and back yard of our property. We chose the ranch rail style so we could still see the woods. We also added the wire mesh so our little critters couldn’t escape. Now they get the exercise they need without worrying they get lost. Had another great experience work with Dave Yost and the Mid-Atlantic Deck & Fence team. I give them “10 out of 10” as the young people say these days.

My neighbor introduced me to MADFC several years ago to replace a portion of our wood fence. Fast forward to Mar 2024 and I decided to replace all the wood during a backyard remodeling for a new pool. I love it!! The two tone color matches my stone work, perfectly, and avoids a wall of blinding white. The aluminum balusters and fence are a great accent. The crew were also a great group to work with, very respectful of my property. When they checked in about I liked everything, I mentioned I didn't like the set up of one of the locks. They came back out right away to adjust. Great follow through.
