We called for routine maintenance our system was working they said we needed a capacitor since system was old which we replaced went to dinner and NoAir when we got home . Called emergency number was told they only work M-F so there is no emergency number even tho they advertise that on web site now stuck w no air till Monday after we of $450 for this replacement part. I will be staying at a hotel for the weekend and handing you the bill. I tried to call them left my number for a call back they called back but never came to the phone just listened to recorded music for 25 min . Worst service ever worst service person he had to call in for instructions on our wiring. Thumbs down

Arundel Cooling & Heating Co. merits five stars. Every time we call, they provide excellent customer service. Tim, Chris and Brian did a fine job installing a new Lennox heat pump on a hot July day, when we had been without ac for eleven days. They were prompt and diligent. Tucker advised us about the USA-made Lennox heat pump. Lou and Billy are the technicians. Professional from start to finish! Thank you to a great team. Highly recommend this company.

I’ve been looking for an HVAC company for awhile, what a breath of fresh air Arundel Cooling & Heating is. Outstanding customer service! From my initial call to Vicki, I was impressed how quickly and professionally the call was handled. Follow-up was exceptional. I cannot say enough good things about the technicians Walter Fitzpatrick and Blake Holt. Took so much time explaining everything they were doing. Honest and thorough. I know they went above and beyond to help and it was greatly appreciated. Very knowledgeable, professional and extremely pleasant. I highly recommend them and I am so thankful to have found this company. I called the office to express my gratitude and spoke to Jean Van Horne. Jean was so warm, kind and helpful. I have been a customer of Arundel Cooling and Heating for more than 25 years. My HVAC system needed to be replaced after many years of good service having been maintained by ACH technicians. Last Friday David came out to discover it was time for an upgrade. He was very thorough in going over our options. He coordinated with the home office and determined a system could be installed this past Monday. The installation team, Chris and Tim, arrived as scheduled and covered the installation process with us and began work on a rainy day. They were very personable and professional and, when they had completed the installation, explained the operation of the new system and recommended when a post installation system checkup should be scheduled. When they left, the only evidence they had even been here was a new compressor unit outside and the new system in the house. Arundel Cooling and Heating, to include the home office personnel, has been a very reliable, consistent company and we would recommend them for your consideration. Sid H.

Our AC started giving us problems last summer. When it got too hot it would shut off at a certain temp. I went to school back in the 90s for HVAC but no longer work in that area. I know the basics, so i cleaned my coils and such and kept it maintained through the years. With the new technology & computers in them, i figured id call someone to come out & look at it before the weather starts to heat up. Called Arundel, I worked for them back in the day and they were the company who installed our AC/Furnace a few years ago. Technician came around the time slot that we were told. Wasn't a bad guy, seemed to know what he was doing. $99 to look at it (not to clean it or anything). Took the guy an hour to give us a $395 bill that only included him pushing some buttons on the thermostat, and replaced a capacitor. Charged us $395. For a part that i found online for $25! Told us that this didn't work and that it might be the fan motor and the board. $395 still no working AC. He said we would receive an email with the estimate of how much the other parts and labor would cost. Not even a half hour later, Arundel called asking if we got the estimate and if we wanted to make an appt. We said we didn't even see the email yet, but we would get back to them. Looked at the email and it was $2,800!!!!! On top of the $395 we just paid AND this didn't include cleaning our coils nor do they know if this will actually fix the problem. Do NOT use Arundel, they are rip offs and price gouge badly!!!

Walter Fitzpatrick was terrific. He was able to find the answer to the water issue coming from the furnace very quickly (the humidifier was not draining properly). Not only did he identify and fix the problem but he was professional, courteous, explained the problem and how he would fix it. This is my first year with Arundel and have requested that Walter be my technician from now on. Thank you Walter.

I have been a satisfied customer for more than 25 years and your service team ALWAYS exceeds my expectations. We called for an emergency heating repair at 9:00am and your technician Walt had our heat back on by 12.00 noon. Walt listened to our concerns and was extremely thorough and courteous. I would never consider using any other heating or cooling company.

Overall good purchase experience and happy with the company. We moved into a new house and had to replace 2 heat pumps and 2 air handlers. We had multiple quotes, and for the features we wanted, these guys were very competitive in price. Also, they were responsive and professional to deal with. Kevin Adams (sales) answered all our questions comprehensively and quickly. The install, county inspection, and and our state rebates were smoothly handled. When we had a few follow-up issues and called in, they scheduled service very quickly and resolved the issue. We will post later on how our maintenance service experience is. However, the overall good sales experience was tempered by some other items: (1) Our previous purchase of Carrier Infinity equipment came with a written home energy report of our current flow, needs, and capacity. This was done informally and verbally by these guys (2) They positioned the lines from one of the heat pumps to the house to be facing the yard (instead of in the back of the unit against the house) so that now we will always have risk of yard work (mowing, weeding) damaging our lines into the house - had a few of our other contractors say this wasn't ideal and (3) They did not insulate the discharge lines of our air handler and these are now very cold / hot to the touch, meaning inefficiency due to cooling/ heating loss. I emailed them about these issues and never heard back, again not great customer service if I always have to call to get a response. These are relatively minor in the grand scheme of a big job but are attention to detail items that I wish had been better handled. Otherwise, very happy and a good company. More on the maintenance services as I experience them.....
