ALCO recently sided our entire home with Hardy Plank Siding and Azek board. The house looks Amazing! Craig Deimler was fantastic in helping us design the look we were trying to achieve. He created a rendering for us that had a herring bone pattern that looks great. From start to finish ALCO team was terrific. Everyone was very polite, professional, worked hard, and the job was done in a timely manner. They worked in freezing cold conditions, rain or snow. ALCO was quick to address any concerns we had. We are very detail oriented and ALCO made sure that everything was done to our exact specifications. We would highly recommend them and use them for projects in the future. Alco Products has now installed a new front door and a new back door for me, and both times I've been extremely impressed by the quality of the doors and by their service. They handled the permit process for me, which in my neighborhood includes both the city and the historic district commission, and that made the whole process so much easier. My house is more energy-efficient due to these doors and I have more natural light because of the glass insert. I highly recommend working with Alco if you need a new door.

We have worked with Alco Products on a number of major house projects over the years. Most recently we had them replace our old cedar shingle siding with new fiber cement siding. Our old painted cedar siding had always given our house a distinctive and appealing look but the wood siding has always required significant amounts of maintenance over our years of ownership including regular repainting and often the replacement of whole sections of shingles. Still, we were reluctant to replace it with traditional plank siding and lose the unique look of the house. However after meeting with Zak ,Kreisman, the owner of Alco Products and our primary contact, we were convinced that the Hardie fiber cement straight edge shingle siding product they offered would allow us to replace our cedar siding with a low maintenance, durable siding alternative that would allow our house to retain the distinct look it has always had. We were also confident, based on our prior work with Alco Products and on learning that they had much experience installing Hardie cement fiber products, that the job would be done right and to our satisfaction and we were not disappointed. While we have always been impressed by the work done for us by Alco Products and the way in which they stand behind their work, in some cases returning, even months later to address small issues we may have encountered with a product they provided, we were more than impressed with this last job they performed when they were able to take on the residing project in the middle of December and promise the work would be completed before we were to leave for a two week holiday vacation. By doing this it allowed us to take advantage of an end of years special they were offering which meant a big savings for us. They came out to start the project, immediately assessed the full scope of the work and within a day assembled the team they would need to ensure the work would be done before our departure date. The large crew there to do the work was professional and courteous, worked long days and finished the work on time as promised doing a stellar job all around leaving us to end the year and start 2024 with a house that retained its charm, now without the onerous maintenance burden it had previously required. As mentioned, we have come to Alco for a number of our home renovation projects. We’ve had them install all new windows for us, including two stunning bay windows that dramatically improved the look of our living room and kitchen. We also turned to them when we wanted to replace all of our doors and storm doors. As with the previous work they’ve done or us we were again totally satisfied by their work to replace our siding and wouldn’t hesitate to consider them again for future work.

This is the second job Alco has done for my wife and me. Alco rebuilt four dormers on our 1925 Sears house and just finished replacing all the wood siding with Hardie products. Both jobs were effortless, with great sales folks, an efficient project manager and, most importantly, a highly skilled installation crew that got the job done on-time and on-budget. Plus, they were great to have around the house for a few days. I could not recommend Alco more highly!!

ALCO Products put Hardy siding on our detached garage in southeast Capitol Hill. They were able to match the style and color of the Hardy installed on the house (by a different contractor) 10 years ago. The quality of Dani and his crew's work was top notch. Despite the unbearable heat and no shade, the 3 man crew worked tirelessly and got the job done in 2.5 days. They always left the job site clean and secure at the end of the day. Our project manager, Tim Howell, was a pleasure to deal with and kept me informed about the project every step of the way. Zak Kreisman, the owner, bid the job and there were zero surprise charges or changes in pricing. From start to finish ALCO Products made this job easy. Honest transparent pricing and no gimmicks coupled with unparalleled quality of workmanship have certainly won me over to rely on them for any future needs.
