Considering custom cabinets? Do yourself a favor and contact Jed. From the moment I contacted him via his website, he was responsive, thorough and a real pleasure to work with. I'd sketched some ideas for (3) separate custom pieces for my back hall. He brought those ideas to life through expert CAD work and a crack team of craftsmen (Thanks Bob and Mike!). Jed made sure every detail was right and every measurement precise. I cannot think of a reason I wouldn't use Jed Dinger Design again for my next project!

We hired Jed and his crew to make and install custom built-ins for our downstairs room. We moved in two years ago and had a very clear idea of how we eventually wanted to renovate the space. Jed came for an initial consult, we walked through everything we wanted to do - he spent the next ~2 hours making handmade drawings that were ~95% of what we envisioned. We were so impressed with his ability to immediately pick up on our vision, that we cancelled the next couple of consultations we had lined up. We hired Jed, he gave us CAD drawings within a week that nailed what we wanted 100%. The result - two walls of floor to ceiling built-in cabinets, a desk, solid walnut shelving, counter depth wine storage and kegerator with a quartz countertop. The entire experience start to finish was easy, and the finished product is better than we could have hoped for. We really enjoyed working with Nick, Bob, and Mike as well - the team Jed hires are qualified, professional, and thorough. We have plans to do more custom work in the future, and we'll be hiring Jed.

Jed designed a built-in bookshelf and wine rack adjacent to our existing kitchen cabinets. Jed was able to design the style and color to perfectly match the existing cabinets. He also was helpful in explaining the pros and cons of different design options, was on time to all of our appointments, and even completed the project ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Jed.

We hired Jed to design and install built-in bookshelves, desks, and drawers for our home office. Based on our description of what was needed, he came back with a design that met our needs, made excellent use of somewhat limited space, and was aesthetically pleasing. He was very responsive, and his knowledgable suggestions and explanations were a great help in our decision-making. When installation day arrived, Jed’s crew was professional and helpful, getting the job done in only two days. We love the end result, which is both beautiful and functional, and would not hesitate to call Jed for any future projects.

I am an interior designer and have been working with Jed for nearly a decade now. We first met through a very discriminating client who wanted a modern, egg-crate style built-in bookcase for their penthouse condominium. The result was absolutely gorgeous. From there, I brought Jed in to build out a 30’ home office with a rustic, old-world Italian feel. This elaborate project involved wrap around built-in bookshelves that followed a pitched roof line and several dormers. We added rustic beams and refaced the kitchenette cabinet doors to match. It was again, amazing and completely transformed the space. There have been a number of projects since then (wine walls, live edge standing desks, etc.), all with various degrees of complicated details, and Jed has consistently delivered the highest quality craftsmanship. He is able to work in a wide range of design aesthetics and can handle most any challenge. I strongly value his honesty, integrity and the professionalism he brings to every job. He is wonderful to work with, always going the extra mile to make sure the work is perfect and the clients are delighted.
