Tops of the Town is one of the few providers of Corian solid surface countertops in the DC Metro area. The experience was amazing. Charlie is very knowledgeable, reasonable, and provides a great product at a great value. He has been doing this a long time and the experience shows. Little things really matter, such as the kind, patient way Charlie worked with his helper. People who treat others well deserve the business. I highly recommend this one.

I found Charlie from a friend for replacing my countertop and building a new one by the window. He did a won job on the countertop. I also as him to make a hole on my kitchen island so I can it a green waste compost bin. I gave him a wrong part of the bin so the hole he made did not fit. Luckily the hole was smaller than what it should be. He was very kind to go back to his workshop with the right part to cut the hole again. Then I ask him to install a magnet to hang my knives on the wall. He had to go to home depot to get masonry drill bits twice to get the job done. He really made my kitchen so much better than before. I am happy with the results. Highly recommend him to all my friends.

I didn't use them personally, but only because they didn't have what I needed. Regardless, they were very honest and informative, and there's no doubt I would have used them if they had what I was looking for.

An acquaintance recommended this contractor, so we contacted Charlie for an estimate. We have a small kitchen to update in a rental property, and he was aware of that before agreeing to meet and discuss the work. He showed up early for our appointment and said that he was about to leave his card under the door. We thought this was odd, but continued with the appointment. We explained the updates that we needed, and a few of the responses were awkward, almost as if he was making fun of the fact that we didn't need an extremely expensive remodel for the rental property. It's been a week now, and he still hasn't sent us an estimate. It's frustrating that he just wasted our time and wasn't professional enough to decline the job if the kitchen was too small. We would not consider this company for any work in the future.
