Dave at Steinworks is top notch! Had him aluminum weld a hole in my boat and it’s absolutely perfect. Quick work and fast turn around. Couldn’t recommend him enough. Anyone local that needs any kind of fabrication, look no further. He’s worth the drive too as well if you’re located further away.
I went to Steinworks from Arlington for a wheelchair repair, and I was blown away by the quality of the work and the excellent service. A part of the steel frame on my chair had broken, causing one of the wheels to fall off, and I was very nervous that I wouldn't be able to find someone who could help. Dave was incredibly professional, open and up front about everything, and his work was absolutely excellent. The chair was repaired in only a couple hours and it works better now than I could've hoped.
The price was a steal, given the top-notch quality of the work.
Severna Park is a little ways outside DC, but if you have an important welding job that must be done right, I strongly encourage you to give him a call.

Dave is a master of all things metalwork. He approached my project with the care and attention he would show one of his own cars. I can't thank him enough for transforming the look of the exhaust on my car. A true artist and craftsman, he won't quit until everything is up to his high standards. The pictures speak for themselves. Highly recommended!

I contacted David at Steinworks to have a new flange welded on my existing turbo downpipe. The car was inoperable so I couldn't bring it to him to fabricate. That didn't stop him from getting the job done, however.
David was super-accommodating in going back to him with some test fitment details and changes to angle and position to make everything fit right. The finished product came out fitting perfect with awesome welds.
The pricing for his quality of work and turn around time is beyond reasonable. If you need anything welded up or fabricated, call David first.

One of the best fabricators on the east coast. Dave has done some of the best welding that I have ever seen. I had a straight pipe turbo back exhaust complete on my vr6 and a full custom intercooler piping setup and the welds are perfect. I trust Steinworks with any welding or fabrication that is needed for metalwork. Thank you Dave!
