Excellent work! They were accommodating and supportive in assisting us with the custom design of our railing. The project was finished ahead of schedule and we were extremely pleased. Very friendly staff.
I’m so glad my search to update the balusters in my entryway led me to C&S Ornamental Iron. Everyone I spoke to was patient and professional. Kristy walked me through the process and even let me come in to look at a sample of the baluster that was described on the work order written by Brian. On the day the project began, Jim arrived promptly and the installer Dwayne arrived afterwards. Dwayne did an excellent job. I am very happy with the work and will recommend to others.

I signed a contract in mid-May for a small railing job at my home, and sent C & S my down-payment. I didn’t hear anything for several weeks so I called and the rep told me it takes 7 weeks for a job to be scheduled. I called again after 8 weeks and was told so and so is on vacation this week, so they would call me back. Guess what? No call. After 10 weeks I called and was finally put on the schedule.
On the day of the job, 2 gentlemen were sent over who were nice enough but barely seemed to be out of high school (I later found out they had only 2 years of experience, and it showed). They proceeded to put the railings in and I looked them over quickly and saw no issues at first. After they left and upon further inspection, I noticed the rails were put in crooked on not one but both sides, there was still rust on some parts of the railings, and the paint job was sloppy at best.
I called the manager who came over and agreed that the job was not done correctly and said they would contact me to get them fixed. Well, after waiting 3 weeks, no call from him or any other C & S representative. I decided to just fix the sloppy paint job and rust spots myself. I am not going to bother with trying to straighten out the crooked railings with C & S, as they do not believe in Customer Service.
I would advise against using this company. They lost all credibility by not following through on what was promised, and they have an inept customer service team.

Very easy to work with and they delivered a quality set of solid iron railings. In addition, C&S is very competitive on pricing. I recommend them to anyone needing new stair railings. The railings were installed in both rock stairs and composite decking. The owner came out and measured for the estimate and listened to our needs, good customer service!

Very friendly customer service! They came right out and did the measuring and estimate. They were very accommodating to my budget and even more accommodating when I wanted to visit the shop to see the materials first hand before they started construction. My entire experience with C&S was great and I highly recommend them to anyone, whether their project is large or small (like mine).
