My brother and a few friends were working a job for a gentleman who hired Auburn concrete.
The driver according to multiple witnesses showed up the site either heavily inebriated or hungover.
After showing up an hour early then scheduled. while the slab was being formed.The driver proceeded to smoke marijuana on the clock. on the customers property and also placed the trash and wrappers from his lunch on the ground and never picked them up.
Upon pouring the slab my brother and co discovered.that not only had the driver not added more water to the mix.That had been sitting in the drum for well over two hours
The mix was not only dry.But poor quality overall and it took three grown men nearly 5 hours to fix the drivers shoddy poor job.
This drivers negligence and overall lack of professionalism costed my brother and friends the job because the slab cracked nearly 15 mins after the work had been fininshed.
If I could give these plebs a negative rating I would

I'm a homeowner who has used Auburn Concrete multiple times over the years, mostly for small projects, 2 - 5 yards. They are usually on time, deliver a good mix (expected slump), and have friendly, helpful drivers.

They came at the time they said. The driver was personable and backed the truck to exactly where it needed to be. I'm just a homeowner and was treated well. Thank you.

One of the drivers cut me off at an intersection, got out of his truck, and started yelling at me. When I asked him to calm down he said that I needed to calm down, then proceeded to pull his trousers down and deficate on my front tires

One of their drivers got angry after a little scuffle in a bar and took a dump on my tire.

This company absolutely is awful! I am not even talking about their line of business. I am referring to how this company handles situations with the general public. On August 30th 2016 I was hit in Sanford,ME by a concrete truck owned by Auburn Concrete. I was in a complete state of shock and thought my car was destroyed on my passenger side. I will admit that the man driving was very cooperative and owned up to being at fault to me and the police. I was lucky enough that I was not injured besides having stiffness in my neck and shoulders for a few days. The gentleman that owns this company never bothered to contact his insurance in regards to the accident. My side view mirror was broken and it was not really legal to drive on the road. It caused me a lot of stress. It took his insurance several attempts to contact the owner for 29 days following my accident. They never got cooperation from him and finally authorized repairs for my vehicle. Oh and I didn't mention that my car is a lease and only 16 months old, but his insurance refused to put factory parts back on my car. This car now has diminished value for one: being in an accident and two: having generic cheap parts. This will penalize me when I go to return the vehicle. I do not know why I have to suffer with a car that will never be the same or hold its value because of an accident I did not cause. I am getting the short end of the stick because he employs negligent drivers. The man who owns this company is an irresponsible prick who clearly attracts scum to drive his trucks on the road. I have been getting the run around for a month and I am still not getting what I deserve. I am absolutely disgusted and I am definitely reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. When someone wants to screw you over, they should expect the same in return. I would sue this bastard but it is not possible for me to do. People I advise you to watch out for this company. They are bad people doing bad business.
