Barry from Eastern Fire raised my annual fee by 500% and will do nothing to help me out, especially since I’ve been supporting their business with multiple sprinkler systems since 2009. The new inspector in charge is greedy and non-sympathetic to businesses trying to survive… They might turn out to be a blast in the past like Denali fire protection

One of their employees driving a company vehicle tailed me through a one lane construction zone on the highway, at dusk, in the rain and fog, and when I called to report them, all I got was attitude from the man on the phone and no help whatsoever. Says a lot about a company.

I had hired Eastern Fire in 2021 to install a hard wired fire alarm in my apartment building which is located downtown and connected with another downtown building. The control panel is located in the connecting building. The installers and everyone I spoke with was exceptionally polite and professional. Unfortunately, the business was sold. I called them because the fire alarm was beeping. I wasn’t sure what to do because I thought it was hardwired. I called and asked what to do and if it was something I could do myself. He said I shouldn’t do it myself because it could shut down the whole system. He said a technician could stop by on Tuesday on his way back from Portland ( this was Friday). When the technician came he said it wasn’t the hard wired alarm and changed the battery. I asked if I should pay him but he wasn’t sure if there would be a charge. It took approximately 10 minutes to change the battery. Then I got the bill. It was over$300! After I called and expressed my disbelief, they lowered it to $265. The person I spoke with initially was so rude and unprofessional. Since then, they have been more polite but I am in shock at the price to change a battery which I would have done myself but was advised not to. After paying more than $1,000 to set up the alarm I would have thought this would be included or at least advised of the cost. The previous owners did not charge for maintenance checks. Stay away from them!

Have had a leaking sprinkler head for 5 days, waiting for Eastern Fire to schedule a technician to replace it. Tried contacting our rep, Tom Vining and he was unresponsive. There was miscommunication between our associations point of contact and Tom, I tried coordinating with Tom directly and explained that that this was all happening at my expense and I'm just trying to stop water from continuing to leak. When I finally got in touch with him he was raising his voice, rude, condescending, and aggressive with me. The conversation resulted in him hanging up on me which was extremely unprofessional. I understand that like most businesses, Eastern Fire is busy and they are short on technicians but that does not warrant this behavior. I immediately spoke with Michael who was understanding and helpful, but overall the experience with Tom was not something any customer should ever have to experience.

Your Personnel, Driving service vehicle #98, helped me fill my tires at the Oxford Irving filling station a few days ago. It was very kind and helpful . I thanked him and also wanted to let you know as well. His help was greatly appreciated and reflects his and your company ‘s standards.
