We called to see whether there is a chainsaw to rent. A guys that happened to be the owner picked up the phone promptly and said yes. We talked about the price and half an hour later we showed up to the store. As we walked in the owner asked my partner whether he's the one that is using the chainsaw and he said yes. A women walked out and start the paperwork. The guys walked away from the front desk and start acting weird. He walk around the store and suddenly told us he needs $50 deposit we were agreed. 1 mins later he said he forgot to order a replacement chain for the chainsaw he about to rent to us. He seems likes profiling us and totally unprofessional. He found an excuse not to rent to us. This is NOT an honest business establishment and totally disgusting what he did. DO NOT COME HERE!

I’ve used Gardiner Rental Center 3 times, now. Twice with a splitter and once with a lawn thatcher. Insuk and Steven are great to work with! Thank you!

This place is awesome! Knowledgeable, friendly owners. Smooth renting and explanation of the equipment. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Owner seems like a super nice guy, but not the type who runs a rental business the way I would expect. He was very proud that this excavator had 600 hours, but didn’t have a scratch on it. It’s true, so when I put a scratch on the counterweight, I was charged a $400 fee to repaint it. I believe the person previous to me had the exact same experience because he said it had just been re-painted. It just seems like a funny business model to me to charge people for what I would consider normal wear and tear. I didn’t hit a tree or crack a window… pretty sure I just rubbed up against a dirt pile. I thought I would attach a picture so you can see how much “damage” I caused. I would tell my friends to stay away. Go to a rental company who rents equipment that works fine, but already has a few scratches and/or dents in it and understands each piece of equipment is part of your business, not your personal pride and joy.
