The sewer had backed up into my cellar on a Wednesday. They sent a tech that day to take a look (early in the evening after finishing another project!). They gave me a guesstimate on cost, etc. Came Thursday to do the cleanup and finished in the afternoon, dried it out and sprayed to kill microbes and smell. The techs were very personable and hard working. Did I mention fast? I highly recommend this company! I am 100% satisfied with them.

Bouchard Cleaning & Restoration DKI

We had Bouchard do the cleanup on some frozen pipe water damage on our family camp. The cleanup team responded quickly and took care of the immediate problem. We also used them to restore the damage done to our camp with their PM Jim Curran. The week they were supposed to start, Jim was going on vacation-which should've been a red flag....why not delay the start until his return? The work that was done on our family camp was ATROCIOUS! The contractors hired did a horrible job on flooring, drywall, painting, and plumbing. Not sure where Jim was for oversight, but either he wasn't watching, doesn't know what to look for, or his eye for workmanship was as bad as the crew's that did the work. I did my best to help my parents through this by going up toward the end of construction and tediously making a punch-list and marking the areas with post-it notes. NONE of the punch-list items were addressed. The hard wood floor we had installed was done totally incorrectly, such that a novice PM would've addressed. The floor is buckled, wavy, and creaks...a lot! I have put in hard wood floors that see much more use, I'm not a professional, but they look and feel much better. It would be one thing to understand if the house was 100 years old, but its barely 20, and was well built the first time. Then there is the drywall/framing. Walls are bowed, drywall corner beads have wrinkles in them, power outlets aren't flush with the wall, wall paint runs on to the ceiling, hardware isn't installed correctly, shower curtain rod is not properly fastened, then damage to said hardwood floor and the existing floor. Very easy fixes if noticed early, but Jim was probably on vacation. In addition to all of this, my mother bought new furniture and coordinated the delivery timing with Jim to prevent it from being in the way of work. That didn't work out with Jim's schedule that he provided and thousands of dollars of furniture had to be moved in and out of a conex box, which caused some scars and damage. Then the people who installed the floor crashed into our deck and ruined that. It's fixed, but it looks like garbage. On top of all of this, with Jim's schedule, we lost an entire year and change of use of the camp. I remember my mom's disappointment and tears about this. My parents gave up trying to chase Jim and his mistakes down, and apparently it wasn't important enough for any of the owners or management to step in and correct. It's a shame to take away from the water damage responsiveness and quality, but the reconstruction is so bad that it cancels that out. I would never recommend Bouchard to do construction, and one star is generous for what kind of a "finished" product they produced. Now my time going to the camp is not so much vacation, but fixing the problems they caused.

So grateful for the outstanding customer care provided by Bouchard Cleaning and Restoration. I panicked when I went to my cellar and felt the carpet soaked with water from a foundation issue. The same day I called, they sent out a crew who vacuumed up the wet carpet and removed it from the house. Then they treated the entire basement to prevent mold and mildew from developing. They also offered some guidance on what size shop vac to get to manage the water leak until it can be repaired. I highly recommend this company for any cleaning and restoration services, no matter how small of big.

Awful, Last year Bouchard came to do remediation of mold in my attic. First, I have a two part attic that I was unaware they needed to be told about as the other side was completely untouched. The questionable couple that was here (they were boyfriend girlfriend and it was obvious with their lack of professionalism) let slip a few times that they were NOT properly certified to do remediation and they were the only ones on site 90% of the time. There was no PPE, there was no filtration, there was no positive air chamber put over the attic access. When we contacted Bouchard about the unfinished work they left us with for 6K$ they offered to quote the other side for free, how generous. We still have to pay for their unfinished, illegally done work but FREE QUOTE. Also, one of the guys stole my medical marijuana I was growing in my back yard. The only reason I'm not taking legal action is because it was a year ago and I have no evidence. Seriously, to the people running this company, this will come back and bite you some day

The entire Bouchard team went above and beyond to assist with a very unusual and personally difficult situation I was facing. I had no idea where to start and was referred to Bouchard by another company. Don and Kean were SO wonderful and did an amazing job!! Josh and Sonia were also exceptional to work with by phone. Thank you for the compassion everyone showed and for making my life easier!
