2023 Update - Have been a happy customer for several years - still 5 stars! Mike recently replaced my old boiler/burner/indirect water heater (and ancient thermostats) with an efficient Buderus system and a modern heat pump water heater. Everything went very smoothly and I appreciate his attention to detail and explaining everything to me.

Recently needed a heating system repair and Mike was responsive to my call for an appointment, showed up on time, explained the issue, and took care of it quickly. He was also able to do the annual furnace maintenance/cleaning during at that time as it was due. Everything is running well now. I'm very happy with the work he did, the costs, and his professionalism.
We have used Mike for a few items on our heating system. He is friendly, knowledgeable, professional and offers ideas to improve the efficiency of the whole system

Mike repaired my furnace very quickly and it has never run better!!
Runs much more quietly, like it did when it was new. Glad to have someone nearby to depend on when needed.

Unfortunately couldn't fix my furnace as he doesn't do mobile home furnace but promptly responded to my request an referred me to someone who can help. Very much appreciated!

Got a new heat pump hot water heater and oil furnace, at separate times over the summer. Mike was very professional with competitive pricing, did what he said he would, was on time, stayed in touch, and arranged another contractor for additional service when it was needed. Can't say enough good about him, especially in an era where nobody seems to return phone calls to arrange estimates or to schedule service. A true gem. Will recommend him to friends and family. 5 stars.

Had an emergency this morning and contacted Mike. He tried to help me over the phone which said to me he wasn't just trying to make a buck but actually help people. He did end up having to do a home visit which he was very prompt about and he fixed our issue quickly and even gave us advice on future upkeep. Cannot say enough about how impressed I am. Use this company!

About 3 weeks ago we found ourselves heading into winter with a badly leaking oil furnace. Based on other positive reviews I decided to go with Central Maine Heating Services and am very happy we did- Mike was able to come by the day after I called to inspect the situation, and now barely 2 weeks later we are enjoying our beautiful new Buderus boiler just in time for the colder weather. He stayed well after normal business hours to get the job done same day so my family and I didn't have to go without hot water that night. As another reviewer said, I also appreciated the helpful appointment reminders and clear, prompt communication through the process. Highly recommended. Thanks Mike!

We live in Falmouth. Mike has been here multiple times. He shows up on time and ready to get to work. Mike is Bosch certified and a competent problem solver. I have worked with Mike at his former company and at Central Maine Heating Services. Things I like - Mike is proactive and responsive with email, text and phone. Unprompted I received two timely and friendly appointment reminders. I also received current and future information from Mike onsite about the needed care for my furnace - this allowed me to plan ahead for more expensive repairs taking away the pressure. And, as an aside - he likes dogs - excellent. Thanks Mike! We recommend you without hesitation.

Mike was very professional and able to answer all of our questions. After having our furnace serviced, it ran so much quieter than it ever did. I even called to see why this was, and Mike was able to explain to me exactly why it was running quieter and better than before. He is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The e-receipt and text reminders were a great touch also. I would and DO recommend this business!
