I've been a builder and GC for 18 years. Norm is one of our favorite Subcontractor. As busy as his schedule can be at times he always finds a way to pull through and keep our projects rolling. His prices are fair and he does a great job. Highly recommended ?

Norm's Fire Protection out of Minot, he is the biggest excuse of a businessman that I have ever met. 3 years ago, my father had a fire at his building on Forest Ave. He hired a G.C to do the job, who took full advantage of him and my uncle - strung them along while bleeding them of money for the project for years.
We finally put an end to that in March, when we started to add up what has been done and the promises that were made... Norm was the sub-contractor doing the fire sprinkler system in the building. He completed about half of the job last fall and was supposed to finish it this spring. Norm continued to assure me he would finish the job and he's just busy, which as a businessman I understand that you can become easily behind.
Norm told me he'd be there on April 22nd, but we had a big storm that understandably put us all behind. He said he'd have to push us out until May 14th, but he would "definitely be there". On May 10th, I called to ask how we were looking and he said, "I'm very sorry Andrew, I'm still behind but I'm starting a new system, I made a list and I'm sticking to it, finishing my jobs 1 by 1 making everyone wait because I have to get caught up." I once again understood and was told that I'm #4 on the list/to call and check with him every week as my number drops. Long story short, I got to #2 on the list and had a hard state date of August 5th (this was after checking in with him last week) to then receiving a phone call today, "Hey Andrew I have bad news I can't do your job". I asked why and his response was "Well I made this promise to start this 30,000 sq ft building on the 12th of August so I have to do that".
... What happened to your list? Who just leaves someone hanging like this? I'll tell you who, an unprofessional businessman that doesn't care to screw over the little guy to help out the big guys. Well, I'd like to show you the power of social media when treating a customer the way that I was just treated... so everyone please share this and show Norm how you shouldn't underestimate the power of a "little guy".
