I am baffled by the fact that since January of this year I have paid Metropolitan $540, yet neither my washer nor dryer has been repaired. Daniel has visited several times. In one of his visits he said my dryer needed a new motor with the implication it would improve my dryer's performance (the moisture sensor was no longer working). I could still run the dryer on at timed cycle. Although it was not efficient, my laundry eventually got dry after repeated cycles). After Daniel replaced the dryer motor, I could still run the dryer on the timed dry cycle, but it did not work any more efficiently. I reported this to Metropolitan after using the dryer only once after the motor was replaced. He returned approximately half of what I paid, with the reason being that he had already disposed of my original dryer motor. I am not sure what his possession of the old motor has to do with the fact that he had me pay for an unnecessary repair and did not refund the entire charge for the dryer motor that I did not need in the first place. I am retired without extra income. I am sorry that I cannot recommend Metropolitan.

My refrigerator broke down. I called the company from whom I had purchased appliances and received service for 25 years. They said that they were booking out over two weeks. So sorry! ?. Inside my refrigerator the manufacturer had a phone number to call for questions and service. Based on my ZIP Code, they referred me to a local appliance service business…… Metropolitan Services! They have been nothing short of fantastic. Responsive, prompt, thorough and fair. Our service technician, Rob, was wonderful. He is also a great ambassador for that business. We are going to join their membership program because of its benefits. We hope to not need more service, but are happy to know that they are there if we do. We, of course, will ask for Rob!

He was excellent at explaining to me my various options, and also how to address a problem as well as how he tesolved the issue..
