PenBay Glass is not the only place to have glass cut in Rockland. Lowe's, EBS (Hammond), and Spear's cut glass as well (HD might as well, I've never tried), and they're all pretty cheap. The others aren't specialists, though, and and they're accuracy isn't terribly high. PBG is the only place for curved cuts in glass, and the only place for larger panes. Also the only place for insulated cartridges like those in modern windows and storm windows. AND the only place on the area for colored and/or textured glass. They also do replacement storm windows, sashes, and door glass. What I hadn't realized until recently - after 20 years of intermittent business with PBG - was how good their service is. Highly recommended.
