Went for moving boxes. Were out of a few odd sizes I needed so I ordered left my name and phone number. After a month went back and same person said they were never ordered because they couldn't put together a big enough order. Thanks for not calling letting me know, he never was going to call back. Poor customer service
Rented a truck. Used it for 3hrs traveled less than 30 miles, replenished gas. Then charged over $200. Contacted local uhaul Mgr was told unless I had photos there was nothing he could do. Ridiculous!
Luckily the Biddeford Mgr got involved and made the situation right. I would strongly recommend using other u hauls in the area

In the past they had a guy that was friendly and helpful and could carry on a conversation, recently though, two of the three people there were rude, or condescending, then, the trailer I rented did not have working lights and the guy said, "Ah, I'll fix it when you bring it back" I decided did not want to chance being rammed on the road because people couldn't see the lights...never used it. Most of their stuff is in disrepair.

The front desk guy was an absolute sweetie. He was very accomodating and very helpful with a great sense of humor. So why the low star rating? Well, if I could I would give him 5 stars and his company 1 star but they don't allow you to break it up that way. I was renting a UHaul and came to the location a tad bit late. However, the UHaul wasn't ready so all was well. When the previous renter showed up about 20 minutes later he handed in the keys, and then the vehicle was handed over to us immediately!! They didn't clean it or anything! My business partner in NH, whom I have no physical contact with is down with Delta Variant COVID and is gravely ill in the hospital even though she is fully vaccinated. On top of this, I am immune-compromised, my teen son was with me and my neighbor who had COVID 1 1/2 months ago was with me. Given all these factors, I was extremely reluctant to just take an unclean vehicle although all of us are fully vaccinated because, well we see how well vaccination helped my business partner! So of course I asked if they were going to clean the cockpit area. The employee responded, "Oh no we aren't paranoic like that!" I was stunned and felt extremely uncomfortable so I asked for a disinfecting wipe or two so I could do the cleaning myself. He obliged me with a generously large wipe. We went out to the truck and I wiped the wheel down first which left black streaks on the wipe!! Even without COVID, this would be disgusting. We then proceeded to wipe down the entire cockpit area which produced a very black and disgusting wipe. I spent the entire trip feeling uncomfortable and dirty, to be honest. I'm not a paranoid person by nature but seeing how gravely ill my business partner is and how gravely ill my neighbor was 1 1/2 months ago and with my own immunity issues I honestly have to say it was an absolutely horrible and uncomfortable experience that left all of us religiously watching our health for a good week after the rental. Even without COVID concerns, you would think that it would be the procedure to rent clean vehicles and not filthy dirty ones. Not sure why this would be allowed especially during a pandemic.

I made reservations to rent a uhaul truck one way. I was told that I could pick it by using my phone. I drove 2 hours to arrive on time only I wasn't able to get the truck. The store was closed but I was supposed to check in by the phone. The online app was horrible as it wasn't allowing me to initially input the reservation. Once that issue was solved the truck that I rented was blocked on all sides. Thus I wasn't able to move the truck. I came out of state in order for me to move my belongings out. Only to find that it was a total waste of time.
I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again. Now I have to make alternative arrangements at an extra expense for me. Don't believe or rent from them. You will be left behind.
