Called to get details of pesticide application in neighborhood to protect my honey bee hives and was told they'd call back with details and email. They did neither and seemingly never showed or didn't stake the application.

Have used Ehrlich for over a year, while the scheduling and customer service line have not always been the easiest to navigate KEITH REED always makes up for it. Extremely Professional, not only does a great job with treatment he educated the tenants and Management.

I would never typically leave a review but this is the most unprofessional service I have ever attempted to use. TL:DR- they showed up for a service I never booked and then billed me $365, owner was combative and hung up on me I scheduled an intial consult with them which was great. Their scheduling is done from somewhere else so they just choose your date. The one they chose did not work for me and I told the scheduling service I could only do a certain day of the week due to a work schedule and needing my dog out of the house for 4 hours while the service is happening. That person did not see any openings so I told them it was fine, I would find a different service. Then the local technician called me and asked why I canceled, which I explained. He then called me back on a sunday morning saying he could do the service the next day. I said I really was not sure that would work for me and would have to get back to him. We did not confirm the appointment. He showed up at my home the next day at 8am and I explained I was confused because we never agreed on this. I also said I was not able to do it. He then sat in his car outside my home for 20mins and a few days later I received his “report” on the service and $365 bill. I called him and he was extremely combative and rude and refused to acknowledge that he showed up unannounced. I then called the corporate number who said they would have someone call me back. Scott, the local owner called me and was very rude and defensive and again, tried to make it my fault and continued to lie that his technician performed a service, which he did not, and then he hung up on me.

Do NOT chose this company! I just paid $365 to start a service with the first tech suppose to arrive today …. no one showed up during the ridiculously long appointment window of noon to 5 pm. I called the company and got 3 different people, two of whom barely spoke English, and they promised to have someone call … no one did. I asked for the name of the person that was scheduled to come by today and was given a name of someone, who I subsequently learned, is not even an employee here in Maine (the company’s call center is in Pennsylvania .. who knows if headquarters is even in the United States).

Jim Palmer is our tech for 2 properties in Southern Maine. His work and customer service are exceptional. We recently had an emergency situation with carpenter ants causing a delay in some home improvement construction. Although booked solid, Jim made the time to come out the same day in the evening. He resolved the issue. The guy doing our construction was so impressed that he immediately sent me a text singing his praises. Jim is fantastic and really cares about his customers. Ehrlich Pest Control is fortunate to have such a great employee.

The first appointment that I set up with this company which I waited 3 weeks for was canceled on the day of the appointment. I live 2 hours away so I had made the trip for nothing. I was not present for the second appointment but my mother, who is older, was told there were too many places that rodents could enter so that the service could not really control the issue. They also said that they could not place any bait stations. I then called the company to find out about the visit and was told that bait stations could be set. I set up another appointment in the afternoon, only to arrive to find out that the person had come in the morning and that they could only treat the outside because nobody was home. I then set another appointment which took another 3 weeks to get and it was set for the afternoon between 12-5. I called the day prior and was told the appointment had been moved to the morning, I asked to switch it back because I could not be in Maine by 7 am. The person I called switched the appointment and sent a confirmation to the person who was going to do the service. I asked if they would get it and they assured me that it was all set. Today I waited at the house all day. I called at 4:30 to check to see if they were coming and was told the appointment was set for tomorrow morning. I cancelled my services on the spot. I have never had such a bad experience with services and scheduling as I have had with this company. I would not recommend them to anyone.
