We were driving back to Nova Scotia from Rhode Island and a rock put a pretty gnarly chip in our windshield. I didn't think it was patchable, but wanted confirmation from a professional before ordering a replacement windshield back home in Nova Scotia. Time was of the essence because we were due to get our inspection when we got back. Fortunately, the team at Portland Glass were able to patch our windshield immediately (I think we were in and out in 20 minutes, in time to catch our ferry) and for a very reasonable price. We had our inspection the next day and passed! Totally recommend and really appreciate their help!

On a recent trip to Maine, tragedy struck in Connecticut when a large object came off a truck, striking our vehicle and busting the passenger's side window. Fortunately, it was laminated and did not shatter all over the occupants and dogs inside the vehicle. Thumbs up to Honda. After contacting our insurance company, we were told to select any glass provider that we could find to get the repair done as quickly as possible. We tried the Safelite website as that’s our common go-to from our home location. However, their website was not very convenient to the traveler. We tried calling multiple locations only to be taken to the same automated system that required us to go back to the website and try to navigate getting a repair. After tons of frustration, we searched for other providers in the area and found Portland Glass. We called Portland Glass, told them where we were and what our final destination was going to be. The representative at Portland Glass was amazing and able to secure an appointment and overnight the glass that was needed. Not only was he extremely helpful, but the repair was $100 cheaper than the other place with a fancy jingle. When we took our vehicle to get repaired, the office in Ellsworth was very attentive to our needs and took care of our vehicle as promised. We are extremely grateful for all the assistance Portland Glass was able to provide and think you will also be happy with their service. Thanks again, Portland Glass, for saving our vacation.
