I cannot say enough about our experience with C & S Flooring. Ian was helpful, professional and responsive. James and Stacy came to our home to make a tile backsplash for us, and we are very pleased with their work. James's work seems like art to us. He took tiles and made a very nice backsplash. He was careful, methodical, and worked hard. He and Stacy were considerate, thoughtful, and cleaned up after themselves. James measured and measured again. The backsplash looks great! Connie

I couldn't be happier with my flooring and the install from C&S Flooring. They were flexible, prompt and the demo and install done perfectly. It was a huge job but after 2 long days of tile demo the wood floors were installed beautifully. They wrapped up a day sooner than expected after carefully vacuuming each night. I will be using C&S again!

We had C&S Flooring install a new floor in our master bathroom and a new carpet in our master bedroom. The quality of the flooring and carpet were very good. After the bathroom floor was installed we had to have a plumber fix the toilet at an additional cost of $288. Would suggest having a plumber remove the toilet (or do so yourself), before having the installers put a new floor in. Our master bedroom is about 15x18. The rug we ordered comes in a 12 foot roll. The rug could have been installed in 2 pieces, one 12 feet wide, the other 6 feet wide, with a half wide roll as waste material, and one vertical seam that meets at the edge of each carpet. Instead, the rug was installed in 3 pieces. This put an extra horizontal seam in the middle of the floor on the 6 foot side. The rug we chose is a hooked rug (like a Berber). The seam is quite noticeable and had some frayed pieces because the hooked loops had to be cut to do a horizontal seam. Additionally, there is apparently a manufacturing anomaly that gives the visual impression of a second horizontal seam about 1 foot to the side of the actual seam. The result is that it looks like there is a rectangle plug of rug about 1 x 6 in the middle of the room, giving the appearance that a piece of rug had to be ripped up and replaced. The seams would likely not be visible at all if this was a plush rug. We had them come and take a look. Were told about the 3 piece install. Asked to have the 6 foot side replaced with a single roll. Was told, after it was researched, that the dye lot for that rug was no longer available, that the entire room would have to be redone. Although it was not discussed, would assume that some sort of discount may have been offered. But overall would clearly cost us twice to have the rug installed. The installers clearly did their best with what they had. Had we been informed that this was a likely result, we would have paid the extra cost for a full second roll and the associated waste. They did verbally warranty for a year the installation such that if the seam frays or lifts (which is less likely), they will try to repair it. Although this is only 1 x 6, it is in the master bedroom. Get to see it every day. Likely will have it all ripped up and reinstalled in a year or so. Meanwhile will go somewhere else to do the next bedroom. Disappointed.

They put the floor and it came apart 6 months later. It took us almost 4 months to get them back so they came with a bad attitude pushed it together so it can come up art again 2 weeks later. No one answers the phone or call you back. That is not the way to treat people and take the money

They installed the wrong tile in my bathroom and didn't patch subfloor under carpet.

Really disappointed.

I highly do not recommend this establishment for cleaning area rugs. They have ruined 2 rugs of ours to date. The first they kept for over 2 months attempting to rectify the problem they had initially caused. When they couldn't; they offered restitution by replacing the rug with an onsite replacement. It was an insulting piece of cheap carpet-style floor layout. After given every excuse: "Old Machinery" - "Never happened before" - etc; they did offer to clean our next rug free of charge. Which they once again ruined on the first cleaning. It smelled so bad it permeated our entire house; plus it was rolled up soaking wet. When we brought it back for a second cleaning, we never heard from them. Waited over a month and a half before stopping in. Asked when it had been cleaned, they said: "Oh, a few weeks ago." Funny, they hadn't even called. On inspection, I hadn't even said anything, when they became very defensive, saying: "You've got to remember, wool smells when it gets wet." Our rug was not wool - and if it was, why would they roll it up wet in the first place? Noticed the edges had been frayed on this cleaning. Which they couldn't deny. Both guys became defensive and accusatory: which meant, they knew what was going on and were ready for a fight - didn't give it to them. let them keep the rug - just walked away. Will never do business with C& S Flooring again. Never received a call from the owners to set things right. Absolute, total incompetence; and disrespectful customer service.
