Great experience from start to finish. Owner provided the quote.
He was friendly and knowledgeable about the flooring options. No hardcore sales pitch like you see or hear of with other companies. Follow up call 2 days before install to confirm. The installation took place on the agreed upon date. The installer arrived as scheduled. This was a 2 day job being we were replacing all the carpet in the whole home. Mario was professional and made sure the job was completed to my satisfaction. His workmanship was outstanding and his clean up was great. We had just had the home professionally painted and I was concerned there would be some damage to the baseboards and stair spindles but the job was completed flawlessly. We are very satisfied with our new flooring and highly recommend Carpet Direct and Mario for carpet installation. Will definitely use them for future flooring needs and will request Mario for the install. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

After initially choosing a date approximately a month away, and canceling all actions for our clients that weekend, they called the day before to let us know they would not be able to begin anything until Sunday of the designated weekend instead of Friday. That was not entirely a problem, as they said they would be able to tear out the old carpeting, and lay the new tiles along with all of the rubber base molding, which they mostly did.

The carpeting tile came out fine, aside from a corner or two that gets covered, anyway. The base molding, however, looks embarrassingly unprofessional. Nearly none of it is flush with the piece beside it, gaps of white wall show between all over. Corners did not adhere well, and some smaller areas were simply left bare.

The last time we had carpeting installed by a different company around four years ago, which did a poor job simply laying the carpet, we had them leave the base molding so our staff could do it. We should have asked the same from Carpet Direct, as it most certainly would have looked better. Now we get to remove what they applied, and we paid for, to do it ourselves so it might look a bit more professional.

We did ask the consultant about the base molding when he came to get his check (January 24, 2022), and he said he would mention to the installers, and have them back. That was over a month ago. When we called to mention it again, he said he had forgotten, and would mention it to his installers this time. It would be best if they did not return.
