friendly and helpful. the tile the girls thought matched well. is what we ended up going with. had a lot to chose from. very refreshing after looking at other places. a couple of the other places were only worried about commissions or selling stock.
Highly recommend. will be our 1st stop. if it comes up again. Thank you very much

Went in search of new countertop material for my kitchen to replace what was installed. Having a backsplash and flooring already in, choices on styles and colors were limited. I was highly impressed with the patience and help the staff gave to me as I explored their selections. Once the decision was made, and the color that went best was from Clarkston Stone and Tile, the process to measure then install ran smoothly and much more quickly than expected. The installers are marvelous and work for CS&T, not a third party. There have been only a couple of things after the countertops were installed we’ve had to contend with, but that’s due to me not knowing what questions to ask. I highly recommend.

Don't use them, their policies are outrageous, they have limited stock, and high prices. You're better off going to The Tile Shop. We ordered tile for 2 bathrooms, we had to come back a few times because of incorrect measurements, incorrect product put into the packages, or various things. They have a restocking fee (The Tile Shop doesn't), it takes them 1-2 weeks to get anything in (that made our contractor wait for weeks with the bathroom all torn up). But to top it off, the last tile order that took 2 weeks for 35 tiles to come in, they called us 15 minutes before they close on a holiday weekend to tell us the tiles were in, when they are usually in by noon on Friday. And, they sounded like it was an inconvenience to ask them to stay open for a few minutes until we could get out there to pick them up, when we were dropping everything to come and get it.

This shop is local to our home in Clarkston, so my wife and I called them to give them a try. We are purchasing all new granite counters for our kitchen and we thought we should try somewhere local. We visited the store around 5pm on a Friday night with our family and walked around for 15 minutes without seeing or hearing from any employees. I decided before we left to search the building for possible life forms. I wandered into the back of the shop and three young guys were sitting talking in the back. I asked them if any of them worked there and one young guy in his 20's answered yes. I asked if he would mind helping me and he wouldnt even respond. Disgusted, my wife and I visited another granite place in waterford that was very helpful and I was happy to spend my $4,000 with them.

Did a nice job but to finish caulking they want more money! Won't go back.

Val Tile did a wonderful job renovating and installing tile in our master bath. They were great to work with, and the new shower, tub and floor tile is gorgeous. We used porcelain in the shower and around the tub with a strip of decorative stone mosaic, and marble on the floor. We had a few problems come up during the course of the renovation, and they worked with us to get the problems solved. Val Tile's prices were better than other tile shops as well. We highly recommend Val Tile for purchasing and installing bath tile.

Very helpful staff! Looked everywhere for the right glass tile, and they had exactly what I needed at a great price. Ordered on Friday, picked up on Monday, and they even bought back the unused extra tile sheets too! Would highly recommend their business for any tile needs.
