I've rented here before with no real issues. This time the post hole digger was worn out. The augers were worn so that they were less than worthless to me. After an hour and a hole about 8-10 inches, I realized digging by hand would be both faster and easier than struggling with the "one man" machine. When I complained I was told the augers were sharp, in good shape. They aren't. If AC & E wanted my business, they'd maintain their equipment.

Friendly staff, eager to suggest what equipment you will need to complete your project and explain how to operate it. Rates are not always better than big stores, but the service, equipment condition, and knowledge you get from the employees are worth much more.

As a home inspection company, tools must be sent away for calibration or repair and knowing that AC & E Rentals is always there for us (with great business hours too), is a lifesaver!
