In the past year I've switched to these guys. Jay runs sales and is awesome as are Matt and Hunter who are the two service people I've met. They have been very responsive and have come up with "make sense" fixes twice since I've been a customer. They've also come through with much better pricing than my past experience with someone else and would suggest getting on their annual service agreement.
From the sweet lady answering the phone, to the gentleman giving me the quote, to the owner who actually does service calls when needed ( I’m intentionally leaving out their names for privacy) this business is absolutely, positively 5+ stars in my book. Thank you for everything! If it wasn’t for the advertising card I received in the mail, I wouldn’t have called for a quote. You all were incredible!

I can’t say enough about this company. Jay is always a call away to help us with everything that we need. Darrin is a master of boilers. The list goes on. We had a great crew installing our AC units and they felt like family to us. It’s been a year and the system is working very well. They serve well and fair to those who live here all year round!! That makes all the difference. Thank you!!

They did a great job replacing our 25+ year-old furnace!
Jay, the service and installation manager, answered many of my questions throughout the process and helped us find the best solution for our needs.
Jesse and John did a great job installing our new furnace and took the time to answer my questions and explain what they did.
The overall inspection, estimate, and installation process was excellent. We'll be using them for any other heating and cooling needs in the future!

Outstanding Service!
Jay came out, looked over our system, gave us some suggestions and (friendly)schooling on HVAC systems then emailed us a quote for heat pump and AC right away. Such a personable, and patient guy!
The guys that came out and worked on the system, Warren and Sean, were equally personable, patient, and professional. They worked from dawn to dusk for two days straight (even staying late the second day to assure all was working well). Jay came out each day to see how things were going and even another fellow, I think his name was Darrin, came out at the end of the installation. These guys were awesome! Despite how difficult and frustrating their job can be, they maintained a high level of professionalism and friendliness. Thank you for your hard work! I highly recommend this company.

August 2020. Hot and humid weather and the AC went out after 25 years. Needed a new condenser. MI Heating & Cooling of Petoskey came out the next day to assess when everyone else was a minimum two week wait.
MI Heating & Cooling ordered the necessary part and installed it within 48 hours of my original call.
Mark and his technician were just great from start to finish. On time, very professional and very reasonably priced. Doesn’t get better than that!

When our furnace went out, Mark came over that day to ascertain the problem. We definitely needed a new furnace and it was in the middle of winter and very cold. Within 36 hours, he sent his capable crew over and they did a fantastic job of installing a new furnace, answered all our questions and cleaned up nicely after themselves. We couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Michigan Heating and Cooling of Petoskey.

Called them to tune up my AC unit, replaced needed part without additional labor charges. Also used them to replace my furnace, best price on a top of the line Amana unit. Everyone I have dealt with has been friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. I’m happy I have found them and will continue to use and recommend their services.
