From the very beginning of the process when Mitch came to talk to us about the health of the tree, and others around it, to the scheduling, to the cutting down the huge maple and taking it away, to the stump clearing, we were very, very pleased with the services we received from all the staff involved. The crews were professional and safety was obviously a big part of the process. After we raked and the dirt settled, my husband had to take a chain saw to some primary roots in order to get the ground level for planting grass, and missing that root while mowing the lawn, but that was okay. We thought about calling you back, but my husband was able to handle it. Mitch also talked to us about some other trees in our yard, and suggested we meet with another of your staff members to talk about possible nutrients for our other trees. We just met with Jen and will be following up with her about it. We very much appreciated the quickness that your associates got back to us with quotes and information. Mitch had our proposal to us later in the day after he met with us. Very impressive. Thank you for your services.

Gaylord, Michigan. Drost did a stellar job. The crew chief came out a few weeks before the cut and coordinated with us on which trees needed pruning, felling, and cabling. The trees were marked with different colored tape to indicate the status. When the crew came out to do the job, they were fully prepared in complete head-to-toe safety gear, including helmets which allowed them to speak to one another. They came with a 72’ bucket, chipper, and a truck to cart out logs. Some of the trees were at least 40’ above the top of the bucket so there was a lot of careful preparation to snake the limbs down to the ground, between other trees and power lines. The crew with their blowers, blew off the dust from the driveway and the buildings, raked up random branches, chipped all the large branches, and worked systematically down the driveway in a logical and organized fashion. The crew was respectful of our suggestions and made modifications along the way as they saw more trees that needed felling than we originally anticipated. When they left, our acreage was pristine. All the trees that were felled were cut down to very short stumps, probably less than 10”. This is an exceptional tree cutting service and we would not hesitate to recommend them again. In fact, they were so good I took pictures of their work and sent them to Drost because we were so impressed. N.A
