My company uses Schindler, and have had nothing but exceptional service. I had a question about my bill, so I called and spoke to Kevin. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Recommended!

We received a random bill in the mail for a price adjustment. I understand price increases however this is an odd business practice. We pay our bill annually and that is when you expect a price increase. If I sent my customers a random bill and just wrote on the explanation that its a price adjustment they would be wondering why it wasn't in their bill to begin with. So this along with how they used a used car salesman tactic to get us to enter into this maintenance agreement to begin with shows how they operate. We are at the end of our contract and still have over the 90 days to give them notice as that is part of their contract terms to keep you locked in. We will be sending out a cancelation letter.

In February I was told that Schindler could possibly change our elevator emergency phone to a cell line instead of a land line. That did not prove possible ultimately. In early March I started getting reports of the elevator button calling out repeatedly, with a dial tone and then tones as if it was making a call but nobody ever answered. I had the Schindler tech for our region, Mike Archibald, come out on March 4 and look at it. We were billed for $708.74 and I paid that bill. But the issue was not resolved. He wanted to blame Spectrum. So I called and met with a Spectrum tech on Saturday, March 5. He made sure the landline from Spectrum was connected and active. A subsequent call I made to Spectrum assured me that this is a dedicated line and is not attached to any other devices. All of Spectrum's tests show that their phone line is ready and active on the elevator. The elevator emergency call button continued to do the same thing the next week so on March 4 I called Schindler again and Mike came out again. He still wanted to blame Spectrum. We have a bill now from that call for $1369.63. The issue was not resolved. The same thing again on March 9, but this time we were charged another $1522.14. I have not paid these last two bills. They should be cancelled. I did talk to Nick Svennengsen on Friday, March 18 on his cell phone and he said he would stop by and check on it, but nothing has changed and I didn't see him here. As of today (March 22) I am getting a notice from the Schindler support system saying our elevator phone is not working and would we like to place an order for a service call? Is this a company you would want to do business with?

I do maintenance on a large apartment complex and we only have one elevator, so it's essential for many residents that it work properly. We've had three occasions where service was needed and they were extremely quick to respond and handle the issue. Great customer service and technicians.

I have been waiting over 2 months to get a simple fix for one of our brand new elevators. All we need is a call button removed as this particular cab does not go to the top floor. Should be a simple fix. Its hard to reach anyone to help with this issue also. I am currently on hold and going on 10 minutes. I was warned by the construction team that Schindler was one of the least performing teams onsite during construction.
