We had lots of work done at our home recently. TC Roofing is local, take care of their clients, and know what they are doing. We now have a new roof, windows, and gutters. They understand the process which is a key component when working with a company. Shout out to Gordon and Ryan!! Thanks, Paul, for taking care of us.
Andy and Stacy
Paul and Rodrigo made our insurance claim go as smoothly as possible. Our insurance claim took longer than expected to get approved and Rodrigo contacted our insurance company multiple times to help move things along. Paul was extremely knowledgeable about which products and services would serve us best. We are trying to move out of state and Paul has taken into account our moving timeline to try to find the best time to complete the work before we need to list our home.

I love working with this company. TCR understands the direction you need to go with roof issues. They understand emergency, unpacking insurance claims and general issues. Great company and would highly recommend TCR.

After reading these reviews and more on the BBB website I feel compelled to share our experience as well.
We made the mistake that it sounds like a lot of other people made, signing paperwork on day 1 that the TCR rep assured us was just to communicate with our insurance. We had a difficult time getting our insurance to agree to a roof replacement, but once they agreed to a full replacement I asked TCR to provide me with an estimate. They sent me back my insurance "scope of work" paperwork and assured me that they would do it for what our insurance sent us, so I signed over the check. When it came to schedule a date to get the work done I once again asked for a written cost and they told me a number that was 4 thousand dollars more than insurance had provided. When I heard that, I told my rep that we didn't have money to spend on that, and he told me that he would have the owner of the company call me to go over it all.
Well, the owner (Paul) was the single most rude and unprofessional business owner I have ever come in contact with. Not only did he scream, swear and lie, but he also threatened litigation if I further tried to cancel the contract and fight the 20% cancelation fee. Being a young family, we don't have money to pay an attorney so we gave up.
After reading through some other reviews, it seems like they like to take advantage of young/first time homeowners who might not know any better. It was a very tough lesson learned, both emotionally and financially. We are out almost $4000 for canceling the contract but it is better than working with this company. I wouldn't recommend at all.

I had several estimates for our roof and gutters before I hired Twin Cities Roofing. John Moltzen was above and beyond with his in-depth knowledge and expertise of the process and his product. He was absolutely straightforward, honest, willing to work with us every step of the way to assure we were satisfied with and understood the work being done. He kept me appraised of every step from the first call to the final invoice. I am beyond satisfied with the work TCR and crew provided and with John’s attention to detail and responsiveness. It is really hard to find this level of service nowadays. We love our new roof.

My young daughter, a new homeowner, had a terrible experience with TCR of Eagan. She decided to cancel the contract for a variety of reasons; reasons she explained to the owner. This was before any work was performed. They charged her nearly $4000 for breach indicating it was to cover damages for work incurred. She tried to negotiate with them, to no avail. My daughter was incredibly intimidated by the threat of litigation. She has no money and cannot afford an attorney. As a result, she gave in, paying the nearly $4000 to just get away from this company. This has been incredibly stressful, both financially and emotionally for our family.
After I posted this one-star review, the owner Paul contacted me as he thought it was a mistake. I told him who I was and why I reviewed.
I then listened to him insult my daughter multiple times while preaching to me about why he was due the 20%. He told me he had incurred more than 20% in expense as he had done the lengthy work with the insurance company to negotiate the claim amount. The weird thing is---- the insurance agent told my daughter that TCR didn't have anything to do with the claim amount. I explained this to him, sharing it is just wrong to expect payment when no work has been performed. He went on to tell me that he would've made 40% as profit had his company done the work. He told me a 20% fee was fair. I'm sorry---but, getting money for doing ZERO work and incurring ZERO expense is not fair in any way.
The conversation was incredibly uncomfortable and unpleasant for me. I've been involved with many, many contractors for decades. I've never had a contractor conversation as difficult and disturbing as this one. It ended with him saying he was contacting google to take down my negative review because I am not the contracted client. It is my family's experience and legitimate to share.
I know my daughter has learned a great deal from this experience. I hope that TCR will at some point as well.
The good news is that my daughter has found another company to work with and they have been incredibly helpful, detailed in their discussions, and very thoughtful and thorough in working with a 1st time young homeowner. She is looking forward to getting her roof repairs completed.

As a single female homeowner, I would not recommend TC to any friend, family member, or neighbor. I had a really bad experience with them that resulted in me paying a hefty cancellation fee before they did any negotiations with my insurance, before they ordered any materials, and before they did any work on my home. I had a pretty steep learning curve with insurance claims and how to go about getting a contractor to do the work, and I feel like TC took advantage of that. I felt taunted and bullied by the owner, and I won't be considering them for any future work, nor would I recommend them to anyone looking to get work done on their home.

Twin Cities Roofing was wonderful to work with. Our senior project manager was Frank Ouellette who responded to every call and text immediately! The CEO, Paul Anderson, visited our home while they were putting on the new roof to make sure all was being done properly. There were a few tears in some window screens which TC Roofing repaired immediately. The roofers were fast and cleaned up everything when they were finished. I highly recommend TC Roofing
