Element Insulation is amazing! I found out about them after having an energy audit done and I was very impressed from my first interaction to the end of the project. The Office Manager sent clear instructions on how to prepare and helped with the rebate filing which made it so easy, Josh talked me through all of my questions (and I had a lot!) on multiple occasions. On the day of the work, five people showed up and insulated our basement rim joists, the attic and exterior walls of our 1930’s home. Everyone at Element was professional, courteous, patient and friendly. They left the space cleaner than it was when they arrived. Our kitchen nook was cold for years and they were able to insulate the crawlspace underneath and the exterior walls around it, and it is noticeably warmer and quieter. It took some problem solving to figure out how to enter the crawl space and I believe another company would say “we can’t access it,” but Brett jumped right in and figured it out and I will be grateful for Element Insulation every day when I eat in the much warmer kitchen nook. Before the work was started our blower test number was 1379 cfm50 and after they finished is was 1125 which is a 19% reduction just in the air leaks. I will absolutely recommend Element for any insulation needs!

Element Insulation is phenomenal! I can’t recommend them enough! Josh Burtyk (owner) is an expert at insulating old homes, even finding that my 1910 house didn't have properly built air returns so didn't insulate those areas. He and his team are incredibly professional and meticulous in what they do. Excellent work ethic and a pleasure to work with. Josh and Office Manager Gabby refused to take payment after the attic portion of the job was completed until after the wall insulation component was done yesterday, several months later. Pricing is very reasonable.

What can I say? The folks at Element Insulation are rock stars, from owner Josh and administrative ace Gabby, all the way up the ladder to project manager Kevin and the top-notch labor crew.
At the initial conversation, Josh did a thorough inspection and accurately identified the needs of our 1938 S Minneapolis home. He recommended various aspects of the project and answered every question.
Just before the scheduled install dates (Thurs/Fri) to fill empty wall cavities and air-seal/insulate 1/2 story attic space, I discovered a significant electrical issue. Josh organized his crew to work around the electrical repairs so everything came together without a problem.
Work was timely, the crew was polite, friendly and skilled, and clean-up was thorough. Kevin even helped me move the heavy kitchen hutch back into position.
The Center for Energy & Environment (CEE) recommended Element, and I do, too! Talk to Josh and Gabby, get your questions answered, and rest assured they will deliver.

Have been very pleased with the results of Element's insulation work on our older house. And they took care of getting a substantial rebate from Xcel. Highly recommend.

Josh and his crew were excellent! Josh explained everything really well, talked through the project and scope. His crew was amazing too , on time and respectful of our home. Anytime I have any insulation needs, element will be my first call!
