We first engaged Sarah (and Randolph Interior Design) for a small furniture design project. After our first project, we knew we were working with someone special. Fast forward 9 years and RID has helped us with: room repainting, furniture re-upholstery, 2 bathroom refreshes, a bathroom remodel, a kitchen and mudroom renovation and a laundry/pantry home addition. Sarah comes to every meeting ready to listen to our thoughts, desires and needs. She then adds her creative design, building on our original ideas, to help us create an aesthetic that fits our family and style. Sarah’s unique relationships with contractors, vendors etc. makes the process enjoyable and smooth.
We chose Sarah to renovate our home on beautiful Lake Minnetonka because she has deep Wayzata roots with coast-to-coast flair. Sarah is both transparent and genuine and, as a result…..she is very easy to communicate and collaborate with on our interior designs. Our project included a complete kitchen transformation and new furniture and accessory designs in every room of the house. Many friends and family compliment us on our home the moment they enter our front door. One of our favorite rooms is my husband’s home office. From sitting behind the custom wood desk working day-to-day to spending nights by the fireplace on our cozy leather couch watching movies, the warm and relaxed feel that Sarah helped create for us is exactly what we requested. Our latest fun project with Sarah is creating a large collage of framed historical photos on our rec room vaulted wall featuring the people and boats and trains that made Wayzata great. Sarah is as dedicated to this tribute as I am. Thank you, Sarah, for giving my home an abundance of texture and personality.....it definitely feels like home!

I heard horror stories from friends whose interior designers imposed their style on them and wasted their time and money. We’re so grateful we worked with Sarah. She’s upbeat and fun, down-to-earth and relatable. I am super impressed with her attention to detail and how organized she is. When it came to renovating our modern mountain home, she saved me all the legwork and stress. Sarah did an amazing job designing our living room and kitchen. The basement is now one of our favorite places, with the stunning, deep green cabinets at the bar and the fireplace. Sarah encouraged us to take design chances we would have never considered and we love the results.

Sarah and her team were fabulous in helping us both with our home remodel and new living room furniture in D.C. Her initial visit to our house really helped us plan for the contractor we hired. Both my wife and I had some ideas and Sarah was able to get the most out of what were were looking for, but provided so many great ideas that fit perfectly. Her high energy and attention to detail were second to none. We highly recommend Randolph Interior Design.

Randolph Interior Design provided excellent design leadership for our new home build, working effectively with our architect and builder to deliver a home that exceeded our objectives. Sarah enthusiastically and thoughtfully guided us through selections of materials, fixtures, hardware and lighting -- making what could have been a painful process enjoyable and exciting. Her creativity resulted in custom spaces that reflect our interests and personalities. We continue to value the services of Randolph Interior Design for furniture and finishings.
