Our AC broke down, and the issue was just a faulty capacitor. A capacitor typically costs between $20 and $80, but they charged us $322 for it. I didn't know the actual cost at the time, so I agreed to buy it. After the purchase, I told my friend about the $422 total bill—$99 for labor and $322 for the capacitor. He was shocked and told me to call the company and question the high price. When I called, they admitted that the capacitor costs around $80 but said they couldn't keep their business open if they sold it for that price. They claimed they had to sell it at a higher price to cover their expenses. The technician spent only about 15 minutes replacing the capacitor, and it was an easy task that I could have done myself had I known the issue. This will be my last time working with this company.

I was having issues with a furnace blower running nonstop when entire system was off. Noticed outside a/c would not turn on. Had a company out that quoted a very expensive part that needed replacing, and advised I should consider replacing my 15yo system. I wanted a 2nd opinion, and was recommended Perfection Heating & AC by a friend who is a contractor. Tech came out and found a broken wire. Repaired wire and everything working properly now. No expensive part needed! They’ve earned my business every time now. Very courteous and professional.

We own multiple properties around the twin cities metro. We had an after hours no heat call and everyone we have dealt with has been wonderful. Never fun to deal with no heat in a Minnesota winter. Perfection made it a lot easier. The technicians were professional and gave great knowledgeable recommendations. We then decided to do an extensive project with perfection. (Adding 4 forced air AC units and replacing 4 20+ year old Furnaces). Nick has been exceptional and the pricing is a great value, much more reasonable than larger commercialized shops in the area. I will recommend perfection heating to everyone I know looking for HVAC services.
