Precision was absolutely amazing. We had a car stolen out of our driveway and needed to replace all of our openers on the morning of the Fourth of July. From the time we called to schedule the appointment til the time the solution was finished was maybe two hours max. Unbelievable response time and Tyler Cunningham is amazing.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a professional service! In November I had a hung garage door and chose to go with Precision Overhead Door of Kansas City since it is name you can trust. I do not trust them. After reading the reviews it is clear that I am not alone on the amount of up-charging they do. I was given a quote for over $1500 to fix it long term. I was able to get the bare minimum down to about $475. Money was really tight for us and that was all we could afford. Then when they came to do the work, they tacked on another $150 because it was harder than he thought, so I had to borrow money from my kids Christmas fund. Then after he left, I tried to open and close the garage door at which point it fell of track again. I called to have them come out only for them to tell me that I needed 2 new springs for $575. I told them again that I could not afford it and they gave me a discount for $465 to replace the springs. I said that I would save the money to do the repair. Finally at the end of January I had enough money saved to do the repair. When they came out, they said that the price had gone back up to $575 after trying to get my wife to sign a waiver to do it for $800. I called and spoke with Alex, who was nice when he wanted to be nice but overall was very condescending every time, we had an interaction with him. He made us feel stupid and talked down to us. He explained that was a 1-time discount and they would not honor it. I hung up the phone and immediately called the office. I spoke with Bo, the supervisor over the garage door installation, who was so rude to me on the phone. After I didn't get anywhere with him, I asked for his manager, I cannot recall his name, who was the rudest manager I have ever spoken with. He was the director of operations. He told me that every time I Google Precision it costs them $100 and that I am costing them money. He reluctantly gave me the original quoted price of $465 on the condition that I leave a 5-Star Review. The work was completed but I will not let a company bribe me for a dishonest 5-star review. Instead, I will be honest and warn others. I will NEVER use this company again and will spread the word to everyone I know to avoid a company that is not one that I can TRUST. *Update* After I left this review I received a call from Kevin, the operations manager, who chewed me out for leaving a negative review after our conversation saying I had “keyboard balls” After getting home I noticed this big gash in my door. I don’t know how that could have happened and no note was made about it. Just keeps getting worse with this company!

The before and after speak for themselves, honestly. Luis was fantastic! He called me before he arrived and walked me through everything he did when the job was complete. He was very kind, courteous, and had a great attitude. Darren set up our service wonderfully and it was done in less than 2 weeks. I will be recommending Precision to my friends and family from now on. Thank you!

Luis did a fantastic seamless install, I went back to work at home and when he was done everything looks fantastic. Gary came out for the quote and was extremely personable and professional. His overview of options was great. The KC precision team was “precise” and professional as a whole with everything. We had a delay in doors which was not their fault at all and they no questions asked upgraded us with a similar brand of door with a better R value that would still meet our timeframe. We got what we expected and then some. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and a painless, professional company this is it!
