We have dealt with Jim Grier over several years for various plumbing needs in our 45 year old house.
He is the best plumber we have ever hired. He’s honest and fixes whatever the problem area is. If he needs a specialty item to finish, he returns promptly. His workers are good, but he always shows up during or after a job if he’s busy elsewhere.
I highly recommend Express Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs. He’s simply the best!!
Absolutely outstanding! This company knows what service is all about! Jim came out for an urgent issue at 1AM and THEN came back to fully resolve the issue before 6AM! There are so many businesses who advertise they provide emergency services and don’t; give this local company a call, they will take care of you!

This is our 3rd time using James for plumbing issues. (Previously hose bib and shutoff replacement, and water heater replacement.) During the recent subzero weather, one of our internal water pipes froze and broke. Luckily someone was home to turn main water shut-off off before too much damage. Living without running water isn't fun. Once we called James he helped to locate the break and get running water restored again. (Like finding a needle in a haystack) He was there for us, prioritized our job, and water was restored with minimal drywall to be repaired. We are gratefull for his experience, knowledge, and fair price.

HE IS A LIFESAVER.
My water heater was not lit anymore.
It was mid evening and I called Express Plumbing to come check it out when he had time. Jim was already in the middle of other jobs and this got back to me in 15 mins. He diagnosed the problem while helping another customer and got my water heater back on in less than 5 minutes. He educated me throughout the whole process and gave me the confidence in what I should be able to do if face with this issue again. A class act and outstanding plumber. I will not use anyone else period. I have used Express Plumbing for a few years now and been satisfied every time

Jim went above and beyond for me,I had a kitchen faucet problem and no water,I called him on a weekend,and he said he was giving a estimate, and that he would stop on by on his way home,he fixed my problem quickly,,he does wonderful work,I really appreciate you.
I definitely will be calling again for some up coming projects,So if your needing a honest down to earth Master Plummer call Jim. Thank you

Can’t say enough about Jim. Called him to come out for an emergency plumbing repair and although he was booked up for the evening, guided me to fix it myself. So instead of having no water for the rest of the day and half of the day after, we were back in business no more than 1-2 hrs later. Needless to say, we saved quite a bit of money in the process. I was extremely surprised by this encounter. He has made me a customer for life based on this experience alone. 11/10 no question. This is how service is supposed to be.

Terrific service and quality of work. Had Express Plumbing out on three occasions in the last few weeks. We're doing some updating, so we first had them install new kitchen and bathroom faucets, and then to install new toilets. Just had them install a new water heater last week. They do a great job at a fair price. Could not be happier with the quality of work.

Jim is a wonderful person with very kind nature and great value. My water heater was not turned on when I got home following a two-month stay abroad. It is fairly new, and I was certain that all it needed to start was for the pilot to ignite, but I didn't want to take any chances, so I looked for an expert to handle it. After making several calls, two professionals were prepared to come home at twice the usual rate because it was after hours. Jim answered the phone when I eventually called this establishment. He spoke with me for more than five minutes as I described the scenario, providing step-by-step instructions on how to begin it and assuring me that there was no need to fear or become anxious. I was able to turn it on, allowing my entire family to take a much-needed shower. While I have no problem with other professionals acting opportunistically, Jim shown a wonderful helping human nature and chose to undertake the good act, which speaks highly of him. If I ever needed any installation or repair work in the future, I would without a doubt contact him.

Quick to respond, very reasonably priced and a joy to talk to. Informed me of an additional Spire rebate that saved me even more money! I will recommend Jim to all my family, friends and especially our Lake St. Louis neighbors!
