After Home Depot pulled a bait and switch on me with a sale they were supposedly offering, I decided to weigh other options. I was surprised to see Stonewood Granite was a local company, and even had a location right in Odessa. I stopped in on a Saturday and Beth took care of me right away. I showed up with a drawing of my own and dimensions, and a sample of what I wanted from HD. I was happy to see SG also carried Caesarstone, the quartz mfg I was interested in. Beth gave me other options, and to my delight she found a quartz pattern from MSI (peppercorn white) that was much less expensive and nearly identical to the Atlantic salt pattern I wanted, and so she ordered the material. Good communication throughout and receptive to my changes on the design plans. Upon installation day the crew was on time, professional, and kept me informed. The price was also the same as HD, perhaps cheaper since this included an installed sink, taxes, and a check discount. Altogether from first contact to installation was 11 days. Eleven!! Try that with the big box stores. And I supported a local company. Great experience.

Stonewood was the last place we shopped after six other stores. Chip was very accommodating and patient as we looked through all of their stock. We learned about various kinds of granite, the locations where they are mined at, and the purchasing process. Several days later, after deciding to go with Stonewood, we went back in to look at their stock again and decided on a piece of granite and a sink for our kitchen. The whole process was smooth and they kept us informed every step of the way. To our surprise, they would be ready to install within 10 days. The demo of the old countertops and installation of the new was very quick and I was impressed with how well they fit. I had a piece put in for a built-in desk that had walls on three sides and the fit was so good I didn't even need to caulk the edges. I have recommended Stonewood to my friends and would recommend them over any Johnson county store.

Even with a construction background, I was hesitant to invest in granite countertops. Jerry did a fantastic job explaining the options and benefits to transforming my dated kitchen into something new. He walked me slowly through the process, explaining each option, and was extremely patient with me while I made each design decision. Beth pointed out a slab that I hadn't even considered during my many walks through the showroom trying to decide. The more I looked at it the more I realized that they've been doing this a long time and really know how to help guide you so that you end up with a product you'll love forever. Jerry is very professional, kind, and explains everything very well. Our granite is beautiful and exactly what we picked out. The cut is perfect to our cabinets with zero joints; solid pieces on all surfaces! The showroom staff were amazing and very helpful. Install was within 14 days of measurements. They are a little more expensive but the quality, quickness, and customer service is 500% better than Lowes or Home Depot. And they had 3 times the selection to pick from than any big box store. I promise you, you will be so much happier not wasting your time and waiting 6 months with another company to save a few hundred dollars. Stonewood will take care of you.

She sent samples for me when they came for measurements so I didn’t have to drive to them to pick a slab. Quality of work was top notch and their prices were very competitive!
