They have gorgeous styles to create a serenity bathroom. Lonnie was very knowledgeable, courteous and patient assisting us. Place is amazing.

Would not use this company. Had leak in shower within 6 months. Called, they came out and told us it was toilet. We reset toilet and painted ceiling. A year later leak is back in ceiling. Had plumber come out leak was shower all along. Plumber said this should have been obvious to a professional installer. Called for 6 weeks requesting they come out and fix since they told us wrong the first time we called about leak. Left messages for owner. No return calls. Highly recommend not using this company.

I do not recommend purchasing anything from this company. I noticed that at least one 5-star review is from “Lonnie Walker,” which is the same name as the vice-president of the company. I purchased custom cabinets from Affordable Kitchen and Bath (AKB) in June 2022. I was advised that it would take approximately two to three months for the cabinets to be built because of backlogs due to COVID. I began reaching out to AKB for status updates in August 2022, only to be told that the designer that I was working with (Amy) was no longer with the company. I began talking to Lonnie, AKB’s vice president, who told me that it would take a little more time for the cabinets to be completed. In December 2022, I was told that the cabinets were completed and on their way. However, on the week of their supposed arrival, Lonny told me that the cabinets “fell of the truck” and would have to be remade. My girlfriend went to speak with Lonnie directly and asked to look at the cabinets to see if any of them were salvageable. She was told that the cabinets were not there and they had no pictures or other proof to support their story. Installation for the “new” cabinets began in March 2023. However, the installation crew informed me that my refrigerator did not fit into the kitchen because the space between the wall and the cabinets intended to account for the refrigerator was too narrow. Lonny insinuated that the issue was my fault, because I had signed off on the initial plans with Amy in 2022. The plans made with Amy were contingent on an official measurement of the kitchen. The refrigerator was there when the official measurements were taken by someone hired by AKB. Although Lonnie gave me a $500 credit. I was forced to sell the refrigerator, which was less than a year old, at a loss on Facebook Marketplace, and purchase a smaller refrigerator. The job was completed in April 2023, after the countertops were installed. In November 2023, I was called by the subcontractor for the countertop installation, who told me that he had not been paid by AKB after months of calls. The subcontractor told me that his last recourse would be to file a mechanic’s lien against my property. I asked him to give me some additional time before filing his lien in court. I immediately contacted Lonnie, who told me that he would pay the subcontractor and send me a lien waiver. After not hearing from him in the promised timeframe, I went to AKB in person and Lonnie promised me that I would receive a lien letter from him on December 4, 2023. On December 6, I was contacted by Britt, who told me that that were working on the lien wavier, but were having trouble confirming if I had paid in full. I provided him with the payment information on my receipt, which they were having trouble locating. Later that day, Britt confirmed my account was paid in full, but indicated that due to personal issues, he probably would not be able to finish my lien waiver that day. I contacted both Lonnie and Britt on December 7, without response. I went to the AKB showroom on December 8 to get answers. I spoke with Lonnie, who told me that I had nothing to worry about regarding the subcontractor. Lonnie promised me that he had recently spoken with the subcontractor, and was in the process of paying him. Before leaving the AKB parking lot, I called the subcontractor, who told me that he had not spoken with anyone from AKB in six months. Obviously, Lonnie had lied to me right in my face. I returned to the AKB showroom, and gave the phone to Lonnie with the subcontractor on speakerphone. The subcontractor, realizing his narrow chance to get paid, demanded his check in person that day to avoid it getting “lost in the mail.” AKB was wholly unprofessional, lied on numerous occasions with no accountability, didn’t keep accurate account records, and expected customers to pay for their mistakes. I do not recommend using them and I hope my experience will dissuade others from getting the same bad experience I had.

We have found Affordable Kitchens and Baths to be both unprofessional and dishonest. We paid them in full for materials and 20% installation in April 2022, for a kitchen remodel that was to begin in July 2022. After three months of calling and being put off, they finally started our remodel on October 17, 2022. The day they began we received a call from Lonnie, VP of operations, for a check for an additional 60% of install which we provided. The man that showed up to demo our kitchen and hang new drywall didn’t protect our floors and left deep gouges and scratches throughout our hardwood. On day three he admitted that he wasn’t employed by Affordable K & B and probably wouldn’t be returning to complete the job because there was a dispute over money. Lonnie Walker contacted me the same day to ask for additional funds to which I declined. The drywall was atrocious. He left 4 inch gaps at the bottom of each wall. He drywalled over electric outlets and exhaust duct for microwave. He did not remove any door casings instead cut and removed drywall close to casings leaving large gaps and gouges. When he began to instal cabinetry the first one out of the box was damaged. We were told there would be a 7 day rush for a replacement. The lower cabinets were installed but an additional upper double cabinet was ordered incorrectly and had to be replaced and another piece was damaged. So, we were told that in one week or so, they’d be back to complete the kitchen with cabinet replacements. THEY NEVER CAME BACK! For 6 weeks we were told the replacements weren’t in. They literally worked 8 days in our home but were paid in full for material and 80% installation. They did enough to make it possible to have the quartz installed but knew they wouldn’t be returning. They stopped taking our calls. We asked a friend who’s an attorney to send letters to negotiate at the very least the replacement cabinetry that we’d paid for. They wouldn’t give them to us. After being left without a kitchen for 3 months we were tasked with hiring another company to repair mistakes, order replacement cabinetry and complete the remodel. We spent an additional $10,000. Five months to the day after demo began, our kitchen was completed! We contacted the Attorney General, BBB (who agreed that they hadn’t tried in good faith to finish our remodel) and we still had to hire a lawyer to litigate this matter as Affordable didn’t even respond to them for months. Please do not use this company! *Pictures show where drywall did not meet floor, gouges and scratches from demo and where drywall had to be cut out to find electric outlets that had been drywalled over.*

10/25/23 -7 month update- Still waiting for botched shower replacement. Britney Callier states he will NOT be completing the job and won't be honoring our original contract and refuses to give a refund. Contractor said he would fix - Brit won't let him. He thinks this is legal! We call it breach of contract and stealing when payment has been made! BBB & Atty Gen. contacted. 9/11/23 Official- 6 months -AKB still has our money and we DO NOT have a shower or vanity We were under the impression things were finally going to be completed the week of Aug 14 -NOT. Under Dave Callier AKB was a reputable company. The son, Brit Callier, not so much -he does NOT have ONE good reason justification or explanation for any of this We're tired of fighting for what we paid for. DO NOT buy from this dishonest lying stealing company unless you want to wait more than 6 months for a straight forward, off-the-showroom vanity and shower and be berated by the owner throughout the process. AKB sent a shower fixture and we tried to explain it was the wrong one–it was so tall it would be in the attic instead of in the shower. He stated we signed off (under his advisement) so he charged additional 450 to change the valve plus a 200 restocking fee. Said it would be $1500 to get the original fixture we asked for when originally purchasing. Apparently it's not uncommon for them to leave fixtures off the original quote and to make comparable suggestions to the customer. Now we can see why, it creates extra money for them doing it the sneaky way. We ran to Lowes to purchase one and told it won’t be covered under warranty We were met with hostile yelling and demeaning language from Callier when trying to explain. He actually screamed at me that I was being hostile unreasonable and just wanted everything for free! At this point we have every right to be extremely furious! Kindness and trying to work with AKB has not worked. The shower installation was horrible - the vanity defective- needs to be replaced. Not a single word from the owner since we emailed him for confirmation on Aug18. Emailed on the 21st and again today 9/11, asking for a clarifications and if new materials have arrived? No response no surprise. 7/25/23 Still no word from AKB -July 17 we stopped into the store for an update. Of course our shower and vanity are still “in production”. Lonnie said, with a shrug of the shoulders, that we may not have them until September” and “others have been waiting longer than us.” Our initial lie of a 6 week wait has literally turned into 6 months and once again nobody from the store has called to update us. No communication. No compensation. No apology. We have had to physically stop in the store at the end of each deadline to see what’s going on only to be met with more excuses and further delays. On our last visit on the 17th we also requested for the store owner to call us to come up with some sort of resolution. He should also know who he has hired to run his store into the ground. As of July 25-no word from anyone! 7/10/23 We would give "0" stars. We started the process of ordering a new shower and vanity on Mar 13. We are still waiting. We were originally told it was going to be about 6 weeks, and then when we finalized and put the deposit down on Mar 20th we were told it could be up to 13 weeks. We were disappointed in the time jump, but said okay that’s fine. In May, after 9 weeks of not hearing anything from anyone, I stopped by the store to see how things were going. This got them to finally send the contractor out for final measurements. June, I stopped in the store and was told it’s still in production. Their reply to my frustration was a shrug of the shoulders and they basically told me that’s the way it goes without any sort of apology. After that I had asked for Lonnie to call me with an update. As of July 10th -still have not heard a word. Months of zero communication, no apology, and no compensation. This has left us incredibly frustrated and dissatisfied with this company. They have our money and we still don’t have a shower.

We had a great experience at affordable kitchen and bath. Donna designed us a great kitchen that was custom to what we wanted. The cabinets are real solid wood, not cheap plywood you find at other places. We had a misunderstanding about delivery time and Lonnie went above and beyond to resolve it by delivering cabinets himself the next day. We installed it ourselves but we’re very pleased with the quality.

Recently had the pleasure of working with Affordable Kitchens and Baths to refurbish our kitchen. Everyone, from designer Laura to project manager Lonnie to builder Denny and finisher John, were awesome- always helpful, always giving us immediate feedback through text and email when necessary, and always on time. Would highly recommend this company. Loved them, love our new kitchen.

Our 1950 kitchen now looks amazing! Our first contact was Shannon and Mr. Callier at our appointment at their showroom. Shannon (designer) was super helpful and her advice alleviated most of our concerns. We needed a "One Stop Shop" to do everything in the shortest amount of time because of our in-home daycare business. AKB accomplished this while working around our business schedule. Denny and Johnny were led by Kelly who kept us informed of the construction phases. Total start to finish was 8-weeks mostly due to some additional cabinet and lighting delays. FYI, they do not paint. We are very happy and recommend them!

Had such a great experience working with them. Our designer, Shannon, was so helpful. Listened to what I wanted, made great suggestions, and just made the decision process so painless. Can't wait to see the finished product. Definitely recommend that you check them out. UPDATE ON FINISHED PRODUCT: We are BEYOND PLEASED with the final outcome of our bathroom remodel. The products, the workmanship, the response, friendliness and professionalism, and follow up were outstanding, without fail. They will definitely be our first stop when we're ready to do our kitchen update. A huge thanks to all the Affordable Team for a fantastic experience and a job well done.
