Ace Moving & Storage | First Class Moving Systems Reviews

Overall

Unfortunately, the packers did a very poor job of following instructions. They packed items we clearly wanted to leave and had arranged to sell after the move. They got a late start and rushed so much the last day they just packed everything and put it in the truck--except 3 very important items they came back to get. I would not recommend the people who packed us unless they had constant on-site supervision they listened to.

Peter and Jennifer were a pleasure to deal with and our driver was also excellent. Things were delivered in generally good condition and quickly. Those who unloaded the van also did not follow instructions and delivered clearly marked boxes to incorrect locations.

I had a completely smooth moving experience! Everyone I interacted with was very nice and incredibly professional. The service was timely and top-notch. I highly recommend these movers to anyone looking to relocate.

Highly recommend. I had a smaller load that other movers would not relocate. The entire process was smooth from estimate to delivery. My move coordinator, Michele, kept me informed, communicating at appropriate intervals and went above and beyond to accommodate a change in delivery location. Would use again without hesitation.

Would use them, again. Got all my stuff loaded, transported quickly,
and delivered without any lost or broken goods. Asked them for a couple of extra things and they complied cheerfully, and of course we tipped them for going an extra mile or two.

I received a flyer through the post at a time when we were looking to make an international move. We phoned and made an appointment for them to come to the house to give a quote. They did NOT show. I phoned to see where they were and was told they were scheduled for later in the day and that I had made a mistake. I didn't but no biggie as they would be coming later in the day. Problem was they never showed up at that time. No call to say they would need to reschedule, nothing. Very poor indeed.

This company apparently does not vet its employees. My family and I had to use them recently to move as they were contracted by my husband's employer. Our experience with them has been absolute hell. Firstly, I was polite enough to offer them water and a snack to hold them over til their lunch breaks. They took that offer to mean they could empty an entire case of water and body armor drinks as well as all of my kids' snacks and whatnots from our pantry and only did so when I wasn't directly watching them, meaning they knew that I never offered them any of that. However the more serious problem came about when the mover packing our master bedroom packed up all of my necklaces as well. Now, I should preface this by saying it was in the contract that we were to move our own jewelry as that my husband's company doesn't opt to cover that liability. As such, I had my 8-12 necklaces hanging individually on wire shelving in my master closet so that I could obtain a container to pack them in without tangling them. I instructed the movers to only take the clothes and shoes from that closet at that time, yet when I checked behind them at the end of that first day (they were scheduled to pack for 3 days), they had completely emptied the closet, jewelry included. I was irritated but not concerned at the time. Skip ahead to unpacking at the new house and my necklaces are nowhere to be seen. I still wasn't thinking the worst, only assuming they had been misplaced or left on the truck. However when the crew was contacted, three of the movers questioned denied ever seeing it jewelry. Funny considering a fourth mover was sent back to the new house to collect the boxes and had an entire conversation with me about where and how my necklaces had been hanging and how one of his crew members had saved them for last when packing the closest. Yet that crew member denies ever having seen jewelry. Riiiiiight. So I've been in contact with their boss directly who has only gone as far as to say he'll question the fourth guy who admitted seeing the jewelry. Now, I'm going to have to go all the way back to my original county after having moved to file a police report against this company and those employees specifically just to attempt to recover jewelry that includes every birthday, Christmas, and Valentine's gift from my husband since we've met. All because some lowlife decided to snatch it.
