They will build you a beautiful door, but their customer service could be improved. Their sales pitch includes telling you the price will be one price today but will go up the next day pressuring you into going ahead and saying you will buy it at the lower price. They tell you they will come out and measure your space so it fits exactly. They installed our door before it got bricked. We realized after it was bricked that the door jam was not right. Door was fully paid for in December after installed. They were extremely slow to return phone calls or emails. It took until August before they came out and fixed the jam around our door so that we no longer had a gap between the brick and door frame. We do get a lot of compliments on our door and they are pretty, but very frustrated it was not done right the first time. MS Iron works says the door jam piece was right and that it was our trim carpenter who was supposed to come out and put a wood trim piece around the door, but that was never discussed on the front end. We didn’t want any wood trim around our door.
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with an iron door installation completed by your company.
I had two new iron doors installed by MS Iron Works. Recently, I began to notice signs of rust developing on the door. I contacted the company and provided detailed pictures of the rust damage.
After reviewing the pictures, a service appointment was scheduled to address the rust issue. However, on May 31, 2024 I was informed that the company is unable to repair the door due to no longer having the original paint color available.
The proposed solution was to remove the door entirely, sand it down, and repaint it in a different color at a cost of $1,500. I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with this situation. This unexpected cost is unacceptable.
I am deeply concerned about the quality of the materials used in the door's construction, especially if the paint fails and the color is no longer available. Furthermore, the inability to obtain the original paint color and the additional cost for a different color option feels unfair.

My customer service experience started off a little rocky and I almost lost faith in this company, but Mr. Carrie made it right. He took the time to stop by my house and personally check out my door. He immediately sent his team out on the next business day to fix my door. I’ve view his employee work and everything looks good. I really appreciate you all and want to say thank you. For Lauren, you should treat people the way you want to be treated and don’t be so quick to cut them off. We pay good money for your product and deserve to be treated fairly. Again thank for all your help.

I want to give them five stars because they communicated with us and they were always on time. The craftsmanship is beautiful on all the doors that we purchased and installed. The large window above the entrance is beautiful. We are very happy and recommend.

Jason and Sam did a great job installing my door. They made sure every detail was taken care of. My security contacts on the door were transferred to my new door.They made sure the contacts were placed correctly. The door bell was also transferred. They made sure the height was correct for me to see the images on my phone.If l ever need Iron Works again, I will surely request Jason and Sam. They both were a delight to have in my home. I was so pleased with their work that I gave them a tip. I recommend Iron Works, they do beautiful fast work.

Over all my experience has been good. The doors I bought are beautiful and they arrived a lot faster than anticipated. The downside was the communication factor on what type of glass I wanted in the front door. Not everybody was on the same page as the catalogue needed updating as to choices of style. The one I chose had been discontinued and evidently my salesman had not been made aware of the changes either, so an alternative was used but I was not advised so there was confusion when the glass arrived several days after the door had been initially installed. I was told that the glass style chosen had to be ordered and cut to specifications. The first time the glass arrived it was cracked and had to be redone. The second time was when I noticed the difference in what I ordered and what I received. It has worked out but I still had a preference for my original choice. I was told that particular style was no longer manufactured. My recent call for service on one of the doors as it was sticking was taken care of promptly and I have had no other issues with the quality or installation of the doors. They are truly beautiful.

We are so very pleased with the door replacement recently completed by Mississippi Iron Works. The contractors were very professional, and their excellent workmanship was displayed throughout the entire process. The curb appeal that now exists due to our new door, is so amazing. The process was very simple and easy, from our initial consultation, to the selection of our door. I highly recommend Mississippi Iron Works!
