Nothing but spectacular!
Picked up some beautiful live spruce trees to use as Christmas trees and then plant for landscaping after the holidays.

I believed the location to be more than what I read and saw posted to the web site until I drove there after hours.

Sylvan Nursery is just terrific when it comes to all kinds of garden plants. I had nine beefsteak tomato plants last year and they all did very well. I would call Candace a few times to ask about watering and pest control. She was so kind and knowledgeable about what to do. I am looking forward this year 2021 to planting more beefsteak tomatoes, straight eight cucumber plants and cantaloupe plants this year. Kudos, to you Candice and the rest of the wonderful staff at Sylvan Nursery.

Been a really long time but I worked for Sylvan for quite a few years. Loved it there.

Always go out of their way to be personable and of great service, even if you just had questions about plants you didn’t buy there. Andy and Candace are so knowledgeable about helping pick out plants that will thrive in our particularly harsh micro-climates in Montana.
My “Lady in Red” climbing roses are flourishing and had gorgeous blooms their first year! Andy has spontaneously driven all the way over to their other greenhouse in the past just to get me the best quality plant he had. And DEALS! I got some roses for $25-best quality but still much cheaper than elsewhere in town! WORTH GOING OUT TO SEE THEM, by far!! Thanks, Andy & Candace

Andy and crew have done my snow removal for a number of years. They do a fabulous job, even through the brutal February we just had. While most of us are still snug in our beds at 4am, they are clearing are walkways. Thank you!

Update to my post. I came home from a weekend out of town to find a beautiful replacement plant from Sylvan on my front porch. I must assume they read my review and wanted to reconcile, which is what I was hoping would happen before I posted my review. Must have been an errant employee who rejected my call when I called to ask if there way a remedy. Not sure what to tell you except please, if you are dissatisfied with Sylvan's service, don't give up. Push because I believe the manaement wants to take care of their customers. Here's my previous post which I am updating above: Can't tell you how disappointed I am! Sylvan charges an arm and a leg for their tomato plants so you would think they would stand by the quality like all the major chains do. As you can see in this photo, the other tomato plants we purchased (at a much lower price) are doing great, but the Sylvan plant is dying. All were treated exactly the same. I called Sylvan to ask if they had a policy to reconcile this and they said, "no". They will not be getting my business anymore.

Couldn't have asked for a better or more professional experience than we received from Andy and the rest of the staff! As a wedding present, my mother ordered 4 large trees to be delivered and installed in Red Lodge for our backyard wedding occurring a week later. The trees are gorgeous and the installation was precise ensuring that the backyard was left unscathed by heavy equipment--the wedding could have been held that same day! We'll definitely be returning to Sylvan for all our future landscaping needs!
