I highly recommend Grizzly Fence! I did a lot of research and in the end I wanted a good price, a family owned company, and someone who would do what they say they will do. I appreciated that the owner showed up on one of the coldest days this winter and he had just come from a bid for over 124 acres needing to be fenced. I figured, at that point, I was a lost cause and not going to get the follow-up. Nope, they delivered. I wanted an farm/agriculture fence tied into a wrought iron fence. I asked for two bids - with and with out the wrought iron. I chose with and am so happy! I LOVE this fence. The team arrived on the specified date. They worked through crappy weather all day. Came back on day two and finished part one with the promise to be back in a week for the full wrought iron install. It was a total 3 days - on time and on quote. Thank you!
My sister had a fence done by Grizzly Fence this summer and her experience with them was terrible!
She made it clear that the whole yard was to be done...her yard is VERY small. The vinyl fence job was expected to be approx 12,000.00. She drove to Missoula and paid half up front. It was expected to take just a few days. They got it started, had to order some more items said they'd be back in a couple days...2 weeks...it sat for 2 weeks!
Then she discovered they didn't plan to fence the back, just the front and 2 sides...Seriously!! She called the project manager to tell him the back fence was part of the bid and he YELLED at her over the phone, berating her...she was shocked, she asked for the owner's phone number and he refused to give it to her asking why she wanted it...she said, because of his treatment of her. Of course he didn't provide it. He called her the next day and apologized saying he had personal issues going on....so I guess that makes it ok to yell at a customer...OR was it because she is a single middle aged woman that he felt he could overpower and be verbally abusive to...then to top it off he added 6,000.00 to the bill!!! 18,000.00 for a tiny yard!!! My other sister knows a family that just got a vinyl fence in and their yard is about twice the size of our sister's and theirs was 10,000.00 total, done exactly the same way!! Disgusted with the treatment our sister got! She chose them because she had worked at the hospital that they did fencing for and they did the job well and timely...she felt she could trust them....nope...they proved otherwise. Treated her badly and ripped her off financially!

We had Grizzly Fence do our backyard. They met their quote and did the work in a timely manner. The fence looks good and is holding up well.
However, they didn't communicate how much they would damage the yard. The equipment used to set the fence posts left deep ruts, and they damaged several mature bushes driving it in between. None of this potential was discussed when we got the bid, nor were we given any advance notice of the kind of equipment and the potential damage. So, add another 15-20% to the bill to allow for the damage you may have to fix after they're done. They certainly didn't seem to worry about it, nor offer to fix it, nor offer a discount for the issues they caused.

Bad communication, I had to call 3 times to get scheduled. The day they were scheduled to arrive...no show. 2 hours later I called them to find out they were running late. When they showed, the 2 guys did a great job. Left without telling me they were done, no invoice in hand, no explanation of the work, and what was or was not done on the bid. Waiting to see what comes in the mail for a bill. :-(
Would honestly not recommend them.

Grizzly Fence has taken care of my fencing needs for both my home and business for more than a decade. Everyone at the company--from owners Tina and Rob to Kyle at the front desk to the hard-working guys who show up to pound the posts--go above and beyond to extend stellar customer service. I am a picky customer with some complicated projects, but the patient determined folks at Grizzly Fence never fail to deliver. Their workmanship is second to none, their product is top quality, and they are always attentive to my questions and ideas.
