Carolina Custom Windows was the only place we could locate a replacement pane for our old sliding glass door. Friendly folks to deal with and very reasonable pricing. They showed up to install when promised and cleaned up after themselves.

Buyer be aware. Your window may not show signs of a leak until their warrently expires. Had a bay window custom built and installed about 10 years ago or less. Angles were off when they first installed and they knocked out a couple of bricks by accident. They got both the window and the brick fixed. I thought I was satisfied until years later, I realized the window had been leaking for years but the latex paint made it where it wasnt visible. I had the company come and look at it last year and they told me that it was no longer under warrenty and that I would have to pay to have them take the window out and replace a gasket. Either this guy honesty just didn't know what he was taking about or they were just trying to get more money put of me. You would never rely on this sort of gasket to prevent water infiltration, only air. Bottom line is that this issue is due to poor workmanship. It was installed incorrectly and has been leaking since day one. And since it is their fault, not due to wear, tear, or manufacturer defects, I believe an honest company should make this right. I decided today, while on military leave, to see if I could fix it myself. Within 5 minutes I took a small trim piece off and noticed a screw head at the base of the window that was never caulked. While this could potentially cause water intrusion, I don't believe it is the primary source of the problem. I'm getting ready to take out the main window out and see what is going on. Update..... This screw was the issue. It was allowing water to build up inside of the vinyl frame of the window. As soon as I popped the screw out, which was rusted through, water leaked out. Now I'm having to basically rebuild the window since the threaded rod that holds the whole thing together was also rusted through. Not to mention the seat it was bolted to is rotted out.

Customer ordered repairs but needed new windows. Was not happy and wanted refund to purchase same. Refused refund (nothing wrong with repairs). She sued in small claims and lost. Judge dismissed suite.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Very unprofessional. Poor record keeping. Most employees don't know what they are doing.
The owner is dishonest and forgetful. Makes up things as he goes along. I want to warn everyone. STAY AWAY.
And don't be fooled by the great reviews like I was

I can't say enough about this company! They were fantastic from start to finish! Absolutely amazing customer service to start, the installers came ready to work. Keep me in the loop about EVERYTHING. They truly went above and beyond with this job and on top of that, their work is guaranteed. I highly recommend them, 100%, without hesitation.

Carolina Custom Windows replaced our windows in late 2018 in our home. They were friendly, very proficient, and did an immaculate job. I would give them a 5 star rating for sure.

Carolina Custom Windows replaced our windows 25+ years ago and we were thrilled with their punctual arrival, excellent work and cleanup. Their price for the quality windows we chose was super affordable along with the warranty. Long past the warranty period, we had some screens damaged and one window due to severe hail and storm damage. A few more years past and I happen to see one of my neighbors having replacement windows installed by this company. I inquired about getting the few screens and one window replaced, fully expecting to pay whatever they currently charged. Within days, my "out of warranty" window and screens were replaced at NO CHARGE for the window, screens or installation.

This is not my real name, but I had a wonderful experience with CCW, I brought in an old gas lantern door, the glass was broken and they were very nice the receptionist Millie has great customer service, and my glass was ready the next day, at a very reasonable price, I asked for business cards. Stop by and let them help you.
