I cannot say enough good things about the level of professionalism and service received from MetroGreenscape for my backyard renovation project... Justin did a brilliant job designing and bringing the vision to life - working in concert with Joe and the whole team of professionals to make it a reality. They kept me updated at every turn and went above and beyond to complete my project with the highest quality and such attention to detail to make sure everything was right. My neighbors are all jealous!!
There was an unforeseen issue we found after about 2 months and MetroGreenscape was so responsive and resolved the issue without question- they stand behind their work 100%!
Now I am even using them for lawn services as well…the team provides a turn-key solution for my outdoor needs and I couldn’t be more pleased.

Wow! We recently purchased a home previously used as a rental for several years. The landscape was in serious need. We called Sean for a quote and he came and listened to our thoughts, then gave us what he could do in our budget. Today Sean and his team returned and literally created a miracle! Kid you not! They pulled out all the old ( the roots on that stuff!!) and proceeded to install the most beautiful bed in front of the house; nice simple trees by the garage, dressed up underneath the maple tree, took out the tree smothering the A/C unit (seriously why plant a tree on top of that?), and put down beautiful black mulch!!! And spotlessly cleaned up! I’m so impressed. Being new to the area it’s hard to know who to call and who to trust. If you want fair pricing, spot on work, tremendous work ethic, this is your company. And speak to Sean. No job he can’t do, big or small.

MetroGreenscape did a major overhaul on my backyard. The back elevation was difficult at best to work with because it was so steep and narrow. They did an amazing job with the stonework and waterfalls and patios. Can’t wait to see when all the new plants look their best in the spring and summer! Brandon and Felipe were fabulous to work with. Very accommodating and worked extremely hard to make me very happy.
They were also very conscientious with the construction debris as well as consideration of neighbors.
Even after several months, when we realized a few plants were the wrong variety, MetroGreenscape replaced them almost immediately!

Unfortunately, this project, which had so much potential, had some major hiccups.
- We had to request for particular areas of the back yard to be completed (benches, stone walkway, etc.).
- Supplies were stored on property, ruining our large side yard and almost half of the backyard. Their solution was to over seed and add straw. Almost a year later, no grass had taken root. I’ve now learned from actual experts, that Bermuda grass doesn’t grow that way. Sod has to be installed since the roots are shallow and grow sideways. This mistake has cost us almost $8k for what was already an $80k project.
- What was supposed to be a five week project, took more than twice as long.
- The “project manager” was extremely rude to my wife when she had basic questions that he couldn’t answer.
Wouldn’t recommend these guys!

After unsuccessful search for new property and home that would suit us better, my wife and I decided to transform our current home into something we would love even more.
I had a couple luxury pool and landscape contractors come out before MetroGreenscape. They focused on limitations/pitfalls/costs and left me feeling like they wanted to pop in some quick and easy changes, charge us a huge sum, and leave.
After calling Metro, Justin and Max visited to see what they could do to help. We walked around then stood up there on the weathered wooden deck, looking over a beloved but overgrown backyard. Justin had an immediate vision for what the backyard could be. There were options, yes, but he had a great vision and drew us into it easily. Instead of limitations, they spoke of solutions to meet our hopes for this project.
Justin was very frank about their pricing. They only work with the very top-tier materials and contractors. Metro's employees are first rate as well. The design/estimation team, office personnel, project manager, construction manager, electrician were all so pleasant, reasonable, and helpful at every step. Allison, the sales coordinator, is a real gem. From start to finish she was the glue that kept everything working well together by interfacing between us and their various employees and outside contractors. She was always easy to reach and even traveled out to meet us when it made sense. With all this to offer, Justin made it clear that they were a top-tier company that would offer fair but certainly not bargain basement pricing.
We were totally sold before they walked off of that rickety deck that day.
Justin promptly supplied interactive 3D renderings of landscape designs with our house portrayed along with the new elements.
It was obviously going to be a multi-month project. Numerous 140 ft tall trees and multiple truckloads of brush had to be removed. Our septic pump station had to be relocated which required all new wiring, piping, and removal of old tank/pump.
Once the rough clearing was complete, Metro and ION arranged an on-site meeting where we all got together and went over the project complete with detailed construction schematics. It was like meeting with a bunch of friends with a common goal of beautifying this backyard and the expertise to actually make it happen.
John (construction manager) and Jake (electrical) were very impressive. John has vision for construction projects like Justin does for landscapes. Of course our deck replacement was small potatoes for him but he offered the various options, helped us determine the colors, and did a two-tone arrangement that we really adore. Jake was always prompt, professional and helped ensure that we would switch to the new septic system in a seamless way.
ION outdoors has an equally impressive team and exceeded our expectations. We are thrilled with their work and how they engaged us throughout the process. They always opted for quality instead of expediency, and made a pool that we love.
When the pool was mostly complete, Adan (project manager) went to work. They put in the entire patio, foliage, mulch, slate walkway, and fire-pit in about a week. There was great forethought regarding the slopes/drainage everywhere. We had 20+ years of terrible drainage with a large mushy under-deck area. This was transformed into a space that now my wife is taking over with table and chairs, hanging lights, outdoor chandelier, plants, etc. LOL, maybe I didn't think this whole thing out as well as I should have.
I elected to handle the lawn myself since it's something I like to do. So I'll till, fertilize and seed next. We'll do final clearing, refinish and relocate the kids swing set, then haul the skid-steer out.
All hopefully just in time for Summer '24 which promises to bring more foot traffic than ever before through my basement and into our backyard. Again I wander if I've thought this all through properly!

Thank you MetroGreenscape for resolving a ongoing flooding issue we've had for several years. It was an absolute blessing and pleasure to work with both our Project managers, Joe Debetta & Roger Mason. Thank you Joe for your expertise, professionalism & answering all our questions in regards to our project. I can't say enough about both men's dedication to getting the job done right! I highly recommend both these men the next time you need any project done.

Very disappointed in the quality of the plantings. Product quality is a reflection of a company. These didn't die, so they were not covered by warranty. Several grasses, azaleas and other small plantings didn't make it and were replaced through their warranty program. But we lost a whole growing seasoning with low quality plants that needed to be replaced. We're very happy to let our friends, family and neighbors who planted these for us, so they can make their own educated decision. *Reply to MetroGreenscape, we were customers who worked with Scott, Kathy, Marybeth, Mari, Tina, Jenny, Gabe, David, Joe. Did our due diligence, no avail to, to get poor quality addressed.

I am so thrilled with the work that Justin, Philippe, and their crew did for my yard. They were fast, efficient, and high-quality. They were also very friendly and professional throughout the whole process. They were always in touch with me and made sure I was satisfied with everything. Phillipe even spotted some minor issues and fixed them before I could notice.
It has been a year since they finished the job and I can say that their work has lasted through all four seasons. The pictures I uploaded are from today. See for yourself!
